Disappointing to see all the usual sexist stuff popping out and people makng t*ts of themselves.

We just need to reveal a good pairing up front now and next season could be very pleasant.

To be fair, there was a post to say it was one for the ladies. Seems that there's something for everyone.

Was just reading this Dutch article about Goudmijn and it says the following about Mat Ryan;

“Only a medical examination can stop the transfer from Gold Mine to Derby County, it sounds. If the midfielder is through the inspection, he will sign a multi-year contract. According to VI, Goudmijn gets company from Alkmaar in England. Goalkeeper Mathew Ryan, who rejected several contract proposals from AZ, is also on his way to Derby County.”

It could be something lost in the browser translation but hopefully there’s some truth to it. The main point of the article is to say the Goudmijn deal is pretty much done, just found the additional bit about Ryan interesting.

If this deal gets done along with Kenzo signing then the squad is starting to take shape nicely.

That will be five first team squad members in ,six with Taylor Blackett, the young Irish lad for the under 21 s and not mid July .

On top of that there is the Kellyman fee added to the equation.

Club is , from an outside view of course, looking healthy .

There is an article on the real EFL website about Kenzo being an imminent signing to help with our "battle for survival" in the championship.

Would like to think that we have a slightly more optimistic view on how the club will fare this year.

There are several sides who are in a lot worse shape than we are as regards infrastructure, stadium, finance, fan base.....

Clubs who after 12 matches believe it's best to chop and change managers who then want to rebuild a side in the January window to either stave of relegation battles or "get this club back where it belongs"

But there will also be some strong sides who are gonna be at the very top of this league from the onset.

Think the rams will be happy with a strong finish to the season being in or around the top ten .

Get some decent telly money in the coffers and another good set of transfer windows in and we will be knocking very hard on the door for promotion.

Ryan and Kenzo could be very very shrewd business.

Young talented midfielders and a very experienced keeper who has played international football and at a good standard for each club he's represented

Good spot, sounds like this one is happening then. Getting Mat Ryan as a newly promoted team would be a real coup - first signing this summer I’d be genuinely excited for.

When Warne said he wanted to raise standards around the club in every aspect, with the addition of Mat Ryan & Kenzo Goudmijn he's absolutely nailed drastic improvement in WAGS.

I did spot that Goudmijn appears to be in a very healthy relationship

Deal for a keeper already done, just dealing with medical and permits. Can only imagine on that basis it must be Ryan?

If this is the case regarding permits unless it's an hitherto unnamed keeper that we have not had any links to, then it surely has to be Ryan.

The only other keeper mentioned in recent weeks would be Iverson and would it be safe to assume he already has his work permit in place.

Getting this keeper with Kenzo in the midfield really starts to makes this already a cracking transfer window.

Players with promotion experience, forward with good scoring record, forward with blistering pace.........young technical midfielder and an international keeper.......

COME ON YOU RAMS.

Calm down amber......ticker won't take too much excitement

Work permits usually need a sponsor - the employer.  When people (foreigners!) change employer they need a new work permit because they have a new sponsor.

From what I've read, Ryan has both an Australian Passport & a British Passport. I'm assuming this means he shouldn't need a permit to work right? So would point to it NOT being him?
