ram59
What are our early aspirations for next season, prior to any signings? Personally, I would be happy to consolidate our position in the Championship without spending too much money. If we could steer clear of the relegation dog fight and flirt with the top half, I would be happy. This would give us a platform to build upon and aim for the play offs the following season, all the while, steadily improving the quality of our team. cstand, Mick Harford, SKRam and 9 others 10
RadioactiveWaste
"Never seriously looked like flirting with relegation" lower mid table solid enough ish mediocrity is fine by me for the season ahead. Be nice if we can get a few good results along the way, or even a decent cup run. SKRam, archram, Caerphilly Ram and 8 others 7

Alty_Ram
Stay out of trouble without any real threat of relegation and a suggestion that we might push on the year after. There is so much parachute money floating around that I think the finances are going to dictate a slow and steady approach and we'll have to be patient. Crewton
Holding our own, being hard to beat, staying clear of relegation trouble. Anything else would be a bonus. LeedsCityRam, Ram-Alf, EtoileSportiveDeDerby and 10 others 8 4
Ambitious
Depends on our approach, I’ve just seen Bolton’s chairwomen openly announce that they would need an additional £20m from their investors to compete in the Championship. The gap is huge and we’re essentially starting from square one. As nice as it would be to aspire to be a boring midtable Championship side, part of me just wants us to go into the season in better condition than Plymouth, Bolton/Oxford, Portsmouth, Wednesday, Blackburn & QPR. Scott129
I genuinely think we might surprise people this coming year. I think if we recruit well in the forward positions and maintain our defensive consistency, I don't see why we can't finish 12th-16th. Mick Harford
Just as long as we stay up would be enough for me, stay up then look for progression season upon season after that. Anything above that is a bonus. Miggins and archram
jimtastic56
A few more signings like Iverson would give you confidence . You wouldn’t want Burnley , Luton and Shef Utd for your first 3 games whilst trying to put a team together .
horizon
Mid table - maintain our hard to beat defensive success whilst building a squad of young hungry players that can see us challenge for top 6 the following year Caerphilly Ram and jono 1
ramit
Probably end up in mid table, perhaps even upper mid table, as I think it likely we will get stronger as the season progresses. Being competitive in the league is more about smart signings and sound management than money spent.
Kernow
Going into the last day with no possibility of going down would be good. Introduce some key players that can be part of the squad for many years, rather than one or two year plans we’ve been forced to work with recently. therealhantsram, Caerphilly Ram, Miggins and 3 others 4
