I think there's a few other possibilities, including maybe that we were never in for him Or rather what I think is that we aren't going in strong on these players. We may have had an interest in Rhodes, but posting "that’s confirmation if we needed it they’re outbidding us financially" is unsubstantiated rubbish and just comes across as a cheap pop at the club....
