Some Forest fans seem to lament his absence. They think he "got" the dressing-room vibe and is missed. If that's the case, their dressing-room must be full of 13 year-olds waiting for their voices to break. JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta
If we can get our act together we may well end up playing them at least twice next season. SKRam and Crewton 1
Van der MoodHoover
If Nuno still has the ear of Jorge Mendes expect half the players in Portugal to be signing up in January..... Tottenham squad never seemed to take to Nuno and he had a dreadful time there. Which way might this one swing....
nottingram
His Wolves team were probably the most boring that have been in the Premier League for the last 10 years. The big Greek cannot help himself, it’s great. SKRam
Anag Ram
Is this the end for Cooperman and his trusty assistant? SKRam and JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta 1
BaaLocks
Barmy decision, not only because Cooper has taken Forest from a ploddingly normal Championship team to one that isn't even among the favourites for relegation. Santo has flopped at his last two roles, the last one being hardly in the cauldron of top level football. And, even all of that in hand, if you didn't have faith in your manager why did you give him quarter of a billion pounds to build a team. How much do you think Santo will now be asking for again? It's just another dopey owner without a long term plan that likely will end with the club burdened with debt - we know better than most how this ends. JfR
Is Nuno really substantially different as a manager to Cooper? Feels like a completely sideways move.
Crewton
Joking aside, and even though it would be hilarious, Cooper has earned the right to be respected by the owner and not have endless speculation, then a denial, followed shortly afterwards by a sacking via text coinciding with his successor being announced on Christmas Eve. Van der MoodHoover
Sky sports News has accelerated the timeline to a sacking later today, Nuno currently in his way over from Portugal for "formal talks". Reassuring to see it's not just an informal chit-chat.....
TuffLuff
Presumably Cooper is already gone and this is all part of the formalities, but it’s incredibly poor form to leak out that you are speaking to another manager whilst Cooper is officially in place still. Gaspode
Talk Sport reporting he's gone - sincerey hope the decision bites them on the arse....and an absolute disgrace that the fat one has leaked his potential successor to the press before the deed was done... Alty_Ram
Forest fans seem to think this is all done and good sources back that up. Well, there you go then. They are on a bad run but the teams below are absolute gash. Surely they could stay ahead of that lot. Owner might want the new guy in place before the transfer window in order to hang him with his own team come the summer though. This is the way they do it, third time in a row now. Properly classy way of doing business.
