Second best outcome is for it to come from the pocket of Mr Morris, the man who has left us in so much hurt, and avoiding causing any further hurt. In the circumstances, I’m more than happy with the second best outcome so we can finally move on. Just so long as any money exchanging hands is between those 2 that’s fine. I don’t want any money going directly to MFC to help them with FFP next year. RadioactiveWaste, Fullspizz and Kernow
RadioactiveWaste
Occurs to me that the use of the word "accord" is interesting - I'm pretty sure that translates as "it's not resolved but we've agreed on how we're going to fight it out" However it does diffuse tensions ahead of tomorrow which I think we can all be thankful for. My speculation is if Gibson can feel he bested Morris he'll leave DCFC alone. whiteroseram, LeedsCityRam, Kathcairns and 1 other

eccles the ram
Is it finally happening? If it is does this include Wycombe's claim too? Do I have to wait another 48 hours? jimtastic56

They haven’t actually claimed - just threat to claim so that can’t hold up the process by the sounds of it. I also think it’s clear that claim will be quashed easily. Bit weird, thought they'd have managed their own version of "mm and sg have privately agreed a satisfactory resolution/way forward" Either way, thank the great maker it's one major issue off the DCFC risk register. Given it appears to be a sacred cause for Gibson and Mel Morris has more tricks than an end of the pier magic show, I doubt very much it's going to be a straightforward "we agreed £X and a carefully worded explanation that saves face" jimtastic56
