Inverurie Ram
Any chance the Turkish Simon Cowell that's just about to take over Hull City for about £560 Million, could be persuaded to take over us instead...........or better still his misses could just buy us for a change of scenery! Worse than 32Red or iPro or Sky Bet? I quite like Sports Direct, always get what I want and have never thought it’s tacky or cheap. It's more just the logo being all over everything at the inevitably renamed pride park etc that i think will be tacky. I didn't say it worse than 32 red (different issue in terms of the gambling industry), or I-pro (still not sure of con or just failed venture). i've bought plenty of sports gear at sports direct, most of it tacky but a lot nearer its worth than comparable "name" brands. i'm still a porky middle aged man jogging in it. DCFC1388
How can the EFL back Boro or Wycombe's claims, if they do we go bust because that 51m would be an absolute joke. whiteroseram

DCFC1388
Can the EFL actually decide if Boro & Wycomeb become football creditors? Surely they can only advise but the courts would have to decide. Although if the EFL decide & we refuse they could keep us in admin r_wilcockson and whiteroseram

Can't quite gather from the article whether they're backing the claims or not. Outrageous if they are, although not overly surprising given their history. Morons. Dean (hick) Saunders
Article reads as if Boro don’t want to go to court as they might lose so pushing this route. Cant see how they can be a creditor until they have won the possible court case when they actually get round to suing us. Van der MoodHoover
Would not expect the EFL, as regulators, to say anything about the claims other than they should be examined through established procedures. Why this hasn't happened I don't know. There ought to be a defined process with some sort of statute of limitations, so that if the plaintiffs haven’t lodged full details of their claims with the EFL and submitted to due process within a set period, then their claims are set aside. It's preposterous. Carl Sagan, Andicis, Crewton and 3 others 4
hintonsboots
Doesn’t Gibbo refer to Rick P as Everard, as a secret code name? MackworthRamIsGod
This, in my opinion, is a last minute attempt by Gibbo and the EFL to do everything in their 'legal' power to disrupt our takeover. The EFL will be crapping themselves that we could actually stop up, despite their 21 point deduction. With the EFL anything is possible, it wouldn't suprise me if these claims go on for months. Ramarena
If Perm head thought his case was strong he’d go for court. The fact that he’s trying to lean on the EFL to get on the creditors list via the back door shows he knows his “claim” is a load of ballocks!
