May Contain Nuts
The last thing we need is Marriott hitting his stride. It'd be another example of the EFL's (cancelling his contract extension) causing us direct harm RoyMac5

Archied
Hard to say with Marriott, we kind of got the impression he had an attitude problem but seeing lampard record re falling out with players at other clubs perhaps it wasn’t like that at all
Ram-Alf
He was an idle sod when training...ask Sheff Wed and the lbs he put on, He'd sooner play golf and socialise with his mates, Turned up late to training I was told that's why he didn't play in the Play off final...attitude problem, Fergusson back at Peterboro didn't want him
duncanjwitham
Regardless of any off-field/training issues, he can't really play up front on his own, so he's always going to be difficult to fit into a team nowadays. Even when he was doing that for us, we were sort of playing a front 2 with Waghorn drifting centrally from wide-right. If you're going to play a traditional front 2, there's probably a player in there somewhere, otherwise you're just wasting your time.

We never know these things but I think there was a long standing groin issue (behave 🤣) You can see how that would limit him, I remember having a hernia / pull there, you just can’t press the loud peddle but you don’t know until you have to. I liked him, cocky sod, but you need em like that sometimes and that Leeds game was pure magic. He’ll always get a big clap from me. uttoxram75, RadioactiveWaste and Mostyn6 2
