Nothing players for whom success seems to be a level of mediocrity that would get you fired in any normal job. We're a team that looks doomed. The main hope seems to be that there are 3 teams even worse than us. That's not an awful lot to hang your hat on. We just do not seem to be learning anything from these types of games. The January loans have added very little to the team and we seemed better with the limited options we had before. It’s like they’ve realised they can’t make playoffs and are trying to labour their way till the end of the season, can’t afford to do that though or we’re going to find ourselves in a relegation battle. kash_a_ram_a_ding_dong Posted March 6, 2021 Share Posted March 6, 2021 My controversial take on this is that Rooney is massively under qualified as a manager and this is all very reminiscent of Stuart Pearce's brief tenure at forest.....the lads initially react well to his enthusiasm but in time in becomes clear that the gaffer is tactically naive and inexperienced as a manager. I fear too much mucking around with formations and line ups has done us. One thing teams in this division thrive on is consistency, we’ve tried to be too clever too often and we’ve been bitten! We’ve had to resort to hoping a player with 2 assists and 1 goal all season comes on and saves us. How times change and we need a new team!
