Rev
No time to Die. Should've called it No time to Watch. When Casino Royale came out, it had to respond to the Bourne films, which had lifted the ante on what such films could be. Casino Royale lived up to the raised bar. Every single Bond film since has regressed for me, ending in this last installment with Daniel Craig. For fans of Bond, there's lots of previous references to re-enjoy, yet that feels like the filmmakers took the easy option. By the end of the film, Bond ends up like Rambo crossed with Street Fighter, working his way through the baddies until meets the bad guy on the last level! Craig started off as maybe the best Bond for me, but somehow has ended up as Roger Moore in Moonraker. Bradley Johnson/10. CWC1983
Last night in Soho. Meant to be a horror. It wasn't. 60's London music vibe, glamorous cast. All style, very little substance. Jacob Butterfield/
Wolfie
The Uninvited. I was trying to find a decent horror film that I hadn't seen before, for halloween, and got robbed of £3.49 by Prime for this tosh. A girl suspects her dad's new girlfriend is involved in the death of her mother. Blah blah....stupid cheesy twist and a title that bears no relevance to the film. I quite like Elizabeth Banks but she was totally wasted in this. Avoid. Very little/10 When I'd seen this, I went channel hopping and watched the end of both The Shining and then IT Chapter 1 - and wished I'd spent the evening re-watching either of these instead. maxjam
Free Guy For non-gamer nerds such as myself its kinda like The Truman Show meets a computer game. Unlike other attempts to bring the world of gaming to the big screen this is actually very well done and funny. Ryan Reynolds gives a typical Ryan Reynolds performance and there are a lot of things going on in the background that only real gamer nerds will notice. Solid 8/10 for gamers Dunno, maybe 6-7/10 for non gamers

ketteringram
Dune. Went in knowing absolutely nothing about it. Came out pretty much the same , but somehow enjoyed it. First thing I've ever seen on an IMAX screen. Not really impressed. This film, like tons of other stuff , is way too dark half the time. When this comes out on streaming or disc, it'll be a waste of time for anyone who doesn't have a high end TV. Was also way too loud. I don't mind loud normally, but it was over the top. Maybe lack of people to absorb the sound didn't help. 8 people in there and capacity must be getting on for 300. I'll probably go and see part two if I live long enough. I'll take ear plugs. JoetheRam
Bond. Pros: His Mrs. Cool cars Good chases Decent punch ups. Cons: The plot. The bad guy. The ending. The Grandad shirt that Daniel Craig wears to save the world. No idea what to make of it other than it was uneven. BBG pitch/10 Chester40
Wolfie
Happy Death Day 2U (Free on Prime) I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. The first one (Happy Death Day) was an interesting premise and pretty well done, with a university student who re-lives the day of her murder until she works out who the killer is - and stops them. This one expanded on the premise and explained how the events of the first one happened - and with some extra comedy bits thrown in, was an entertaining watch. 7/
JoetheRam
The Harder They Fall Watched half and fell asleep. Stylish but somehow still boring. Felt like scene after scene of set pieces. The "story" was completely secondary and the characters were uninteresting. Jose Junior/

Gone
Just took my youngest to watch the new ghost busters film. Wolfie
Don't Go (Amazon Prime) "Devastated by his daughter's death in a terrible accident, Ben becomes convinced that he can bring her back through a recurring dream. But is it just a dream? Or is Ben losing his mind?" Stephen Dorff & Melissa George are good in this fairly low key drama, which I enjoyed more than I thought I would. Sometimes great (Deadpool, Free Guy), sometimes annoying AF. On this occasion he was very much the latter. Not a huge fan of The Rock either which doesn't help I guess. The GF liked it though ?? Tyler Durden
John Wick Chapter 2. Expected Reeves at any moment to say Party on Dude before he kicks the ass of another batch of baddies in theatrical style to avenge his puppy and his car. Got bit tiresome towards the end as the novelty of him dispatching another set of bosses wore off. Trevor Hebberd out of ten
