I thought it was Hector that was told to warm up but he thought it was aimed at Keegan. Poor communication cost us winning the World Cup with 4 derby players in the side.
West Ham could have stuck their bubbles right up their east end.

We clearly cannot play three at the back with the players we have. He had ample opportunities to change tonight but persisted trying to shoehorn substitutions into a 3-5-2, that looked like 3-6-1 for most of the game, if he cannot see it doesn’t work, at least for now , then he is on borrowed time.

Was about to say something similar. I don't look at Forest with any jealousy, more worry (for them).  Their very good manager is holding it together. As soon as they sack him, for an entirely acceptable poor run of results, the whole thing will implode.
It's Brighton who I am properly jealous of. They were a promotion chasing Championship club when we were. But look how we were a class above them in the semi under Mac1. We just got steadily worse since then, and much poorer. They are at a level we can barely dream of.

After a night to reflect I have to same I am concerned by yesterdays game 😞
Don’t want to be a wrist slasher but too many of the issues that we had last season have not been addressed.
Yes it’s obvious we need to strengthen the forward line but the midfield is just not right either - Bird and Hourihane does just not work - it’s not creative but it’s not combative either.
Early days but there is a lot of work to be done and all eyes are going to be on Warne - if he didn’t realise he isn’t at Rotherham before he will be now !

Against Wigan it seemed that the two wide CD’s were often too wide due to the wing backs playing high up the pitch. This left SB as the lone CD. Playing a back 4 may have prevented Wigan’s 1st goal with a covering CB, in my head I have Cashin stepping in to whip the ball of their attacker.A little later on in the game a big hole again appeared in the centre of our defence, giving Wigan a great 1v1 opportunity from which they should have scored.
My take on it is that 3 at the back is quite a difficult system to play and we actually looked much more comfortable later on when we reverted to a back four. Just my opinion…

A sad end to a local man that did his best, Those that know are aware what a family member did when Lionel lost his money, DC will better take note, If/when DCFC get promoted he'd better sell as fans will expect something that DCs money can not buy...success.
Coventry splurged their EFL money on one player at £7.7million, Fans are impatient and if promoted will expect the same.
    Enjoy the game folks 👍

Amazed at how Jeremy Keith and Murdo MacLeod of the 3 amigos seem to have been overlooked for ownership and DoF.....
How they took over, what they did, the state they left us in everything about their reign, zero redeeming factors.
Up until covid MM was universally loved, big names PO finals and most importantly the legacy of yhe academy.
Manager has to be Phil Brown for getting jobs for his mates and generally being out his depth and with the above ownership, not as a man, if you doubt the choice, it culminated in what happened at Colchester after they beat us in FAC.
And GK, Camp was ok for us, but his dad's rant was funny, but correct, picking Poole over him and Grant really? So Poole as GK for me as every fan also agreed tbf

Born in ‘71 so whilst our glory years were in my lifetime I have no memory whatsoever.  By the time I really started supporting the Rams in the late ‘70s it was all downhill.  The best football was probably the first 3 years of Jim Smith.  But in my mind the best period was under Arthur Cox from ‘84 - ‘89.  Total rebuild, much like now, successive promotions and finishing 5th in the top flight only being denied European football due to the ban on English clubs.
I’m under no illusion that we will ever with the top division again but I live in hope we can get there again and hold our own.  Which, unfortunately, is probably the best a club our size can hop for.

1966 was my 1st game at the age of 10, Football was different back then and has now moved into an age where money rules the game, I've seen the best times, Clough Snr, Mackay, Cox, Smith, I can not see us reaching those heights again, It was a time of utter joy and a time of utter hopelessness, Trophies and relegations, Wealthy and bankrupt we still went, We travelled the Country far and wide just to see our Derby County, The mantle has been passed to my Son and Grandsons where the Grandsons have to compete with the City's, United's, Spurs, Arsenal's and Chelsea's of this world.
I've seen the best alright and those memories make me smile as time moves on

Almost word for word, what I was going to write.
There is one longing that I have and that is to see us play in the FA Cup final at Wembley. That can be still possible with a bit of luck, with the draw and playing top teams on an off day and good refereeing decisions, whereas winning the League is no longer possible.

"Have you already seen the best Derby County?"
Yes, 75-76 before Charlie George's shoulder injury. Even better than the two championship winning teams IMHO though I saw more matches that season so it may have skewed my view.
But Charlie George and Kevin Hector....wow.
Throw in McFarland, Todd, Gemmill, Rioch, Lee, Nish, Newton.... You won't beat that.

I am too young to remember the League Winning sides so I would say my best years following the Rams was under Arthur's leadership.  We had some phenomenal away support back then, which this last season has rekindle a little.  Seemed to be all fighting the same cause.
A very humble quote below from Arthur taken from the link Ilson Ram kindly posted.  Would really like to see more of a tribute to him somewhere around the ground.
“Alongside many other people my contribution to football has been negligible but whatever I have done and whichever club I have been at I have always done everything in their best interest"
Arthur Arthur, gissa wave,  Maaaacfarland,  One Gordon Guthrie.  Great days.
