Bit bored of same discussions and its a while to the next match so to try and distract (or ignore as you wish and go back to the moaning) and remind us why we're all on here can we share some positives:

- favourite Rams player(s) (dont have to have seen play) and why?

- stupidest journey to see Rams play?

- funniest match moment?

- favourite away ground visited and why?

- proudest moment as Rams fan?

Feel free to add Qs or totally ignore or try and start other topics please before we all go bonkers.

- favourite Rams player(s) (dont have to have seen play) and why? Bobby Davison, shining light in bad and good teams

- stupidest journey to see Rams play? Asked random couple in Morecambe to give us a lift to the game as the bus didn't turn up

- funniest match moment? Glenn Keeley's 45 yard chipped own goal

- favourite away ground visited and why? Barnsley, not too far, we always take loads

- proudest moment as Rams fan? FA Cup v Forest 83

- Kevin Hector. The king.

- Bristol City away in a dangerously clapped out Triumph Spitfire that nearly killed me on the way home from a 2-0 defeat in the cup.

- Forest fan Paul Scarrott being ejected from the ground for the third time - at a testimonial.

- Notts County, in amongst the old men of that parish, funny football banter

- wish I'd been there (couldn't 'cos I'm exiled on an island) but the march

Roy Mac life long legend at the club, player then manager and still frequenting PP for various events

Flew home from a skiing holiday one new years eve, only to find the house freezing cold because the boiler had packed up. left my wife and one son with a fan heater, jumped straight in the car to get to the match with my other 2 lads.

I seem to remember John Gregory getting clattered by the half way line at the BBG, nearly ending up in the dugout, he picked up the trainer's bucket which was next to him and emptied to contents over the player who had fouled him. He earned himself a booking for retaliation.

Favourite current ground is MK with the spacious comfortable seating and the massive number of away fans allowed. Back in the day I used to like the Hawthorns with seats along both sides and home terracing one end and away terracing the opposite end.

Proudest moment was being at PP when it was opened by our late Queen, the first ground to have that honour.

Charlie George - by a long way the best footballer I’ve seen in our shirt. Vision, pace, skill and an attitude. Could pass like few others I’ve ever seen including the modern era.

Can’t remember where we were going - we’d started early - but 9 of us in the back of a works transit with no seats. There were even more coming back. Broken down train with no heating coming back from Brighton midweek comes a close second

Any time the ref falls over. Always makes me laugh.

Accrington Stanley - proper ground, warm welcome before, during and after, proper fans with plenty of access to other clubs higher up but stick with their local team

The obvious ones are the trophies - 2nd division, 1st division, Texaco,Charity Shield - but winning v Rotherham to go up was fantastic, so was Stuart Webb saving us even though it lead to Maxwell (we didn’t know what was to come). Clowes taking over just about tops it though. I cried when I heard the news, rang my son, we both cried - relief and pure joy in equal measure. The reflected pride comes in one of our own having the resources and the courage to take us on at our lowest moment.

- favourite Rams player(s) (dont have to have seen play) and why? Hard to pick just one but just because he was the missing piece to the jigsaw puzzle and to me he was an artist I’m choosing George Thorne. Yes, he would have played for England

- stupidest journey to see Rams play?
Driving to leeds with my uncle in his old MR2 listening to a cd of Derby songs

- funniest match moment?
Seeing Tango the fat, half naked, Yorkshire man getting booted out every time.

- favourite away ground visited and why?
Bramell Lane, good day out and the fans were great after the game, drinking with them and watching the rugby

- proudest moment as Rams fan?
A squad of kids and rejects fighting to the last for the badge and the fans.

Some lovely thoughts to wake up to.

-favourite Rams player(s) (dont have to have seen play) and why? Bobby - as when I first started to go to matches. Closely followed by Igor and Gorgeous George

- stupidest journey to see Rams play? Fa cup away at plymouth in first year going - back from school trip left straight away to derby then straight on football special to plymouth for that (should have bailed at that point!)

- funniest match moment? Police horse weeing on some home fans at a London game before match possibly West Ham - so much volume!

- favourite away ground visited and why? Used to love going to Highbury

- proudest moment as Rams fan? The March what an emotional day

- favourite Rams player(s) (dont have to have seen play) and why? - Roy Mac and most of that 1st league winning team/Chris Martin

- stupidest journey to see Rams play? - is it Watford where you walked around the back of their stadium through 'grasslands'

- funniest match moment? - normally it involves laughing at opposition players or fans.

- favourite away ground visited and why? - Wemberley, Wemberley for the Charity Shield

- proudest moment as Rams fan? - All the time. (Although specifically recently 2013/14 season when were everyone's favourite 'second team') And Wayne's & Liam's season leading us through adversity.

- stupidest journey to see Rams play? 15 of us in an old mini bus to see the Rams play away at Blackpool, police escort out of Blackpool at 2am next morning after parking illegally on seafront

- funniest match moment?can’t remember who made the pass  but it was like a bullet that knocked Gareth Roberts off his feet

- favourite Rams Player? Igor - I was 9 years old when he signed, my first year with a season ticket with my Dad and I just idolised him

- stupidest journey to see Rams play? Burnley away in 2004. I believe (might be wrong) it was Leon Osman's last game for Derby. Anyway, journey there was alright but coming back, the coach wouldn't start so had to stand outside Turf Moor for what felt like forever for a replacement bus. Was well fed up by the time I got home

- funniest match moment? I can't even think of one. I used to think it was funny when we cheered the opposition goals during the 11 point season but looking back it was just sad!

- favourite away ground visited and why? Craven Cottage for the day out. Get the train, lots of pubs, easy day out

- proudest moment as Rams fan? The togetherness during the hard times year before last

Dean Saunders made goalscoring look easy plus his transfer annoyed the hell out of Mark Lawrenson

- stupidest journey to see Rams play?

Either midweek train journey to Carlisle from Birmingham and missing last train back or journey to Liverpool without realising game had been cancelled to high winds after getting taxi to Anfield from Lime Street, seeing deserted stadium then taking same taxi back to station again.

- funniest match moment?

When that guy kicked the Fulham player by the touchline after the crowd invasion

- favourite away ground visited and why?

Easier to say least favourite ground which has got to be Wembley by a mile been there about 3 times never saw us win

- proudest moment as Rams fan?

That home game against Man Utd in the League Cup when Commons scored the screamer and beat a team of internationals, place was rocking

- favourite Rams player(s) (dont have to have seen play) and why?

Colin Todd. Classiest defender I've ever seen.

- stupidest journey to see Rams play?

Coming back from Birmingham in the snow after the 4-0 Boxing Day win was pretty hairy. We were slithering all over the road and probably wouldn'thave got up Drum Hill if we hadn't been behind Albert Wilde's old bus!

- funniest match moment?

Johnny Russell's tackle on Adryan at Elland Road, when he flipped around like a dead fish.

Although Russell taking out Uwe Rosler was pretty funny, too.

Always brought a bit of fun to the game, our Johnny.

- favourite away ground visited and why?

Elland Road. 4-2. Enough said!

- proudest moment as Rams fan?

The march last year, so emotional. I try to remember that when I'm moaning about the football. We are Derby.

At Watford you can - if you walk up from the Rookery end of the ground (the opposite end from the away end) - walk alongside some allotments rather than through grassland. They’re very jealously guarded (or were when I lived there) by the locals, despite the hospital wanting to expand onto them and the council wanting to put a road through them.
The other sides of the ground are restricted by the hospital, Vicarage Road and houses

That must be it. Only visited once a long time back, but remembered the odd walk in. 👍

Kevin Hector.  A fantastic all round player and a loyal servant to the club

Going to Carlisle in the ice and snow only for it to be postponed three quarters of the way there

Watching Frannie Lee beat up Hunter

Benfica's Stadium of Light for the European Cup in 1973.  Fantastic day all round and a unique ground.  I don't think the match finished until close to midnight.

Winning the league in 1972 and beating Chelsea in the League Cup in 1968.
