WharfedaleRam reacted to Woodypecker in Accounts Submission Date Extension
Rick 'Parasite' Parry doesn't want to concede that the accounts are compliant; he can't face the public shame so he's delayed the announcement for a week, which cuts another week out of the transfer window for DCFC.
Meanwhile, he is getting Boro's accountants to audit the DCFC accounts submitted:

WharfedaleRam reacted to Leeds Ram in Have some supporters lost interest?
Atm I'm still as interested as ever but I am disillusioned with the club itself. It feels like the club doesn't really give a damn about the fans; from the lack of communication to the constant ticketing screwups it really does feel that all they care about atm is trying to get as much money out of us that they can and bugger anything else. But they're not even competent at that!!
I can cope with us being utterly crap on the field, I've seen it enough times over the last 20 years but what I'm struggling to take is the club taking us for fools and seeing us as little more than a group of people ready to hand over quite a lot of money for something we're emotionally invested in. I don't like the way the club is acting atm and it's the first time since I've been going that I've seriously considered financially withdrawing my support.

I said in 1984 that if Derby go to the wall I'd never go to another match, nothing has changed for me.

WharfedaleRam reacted to IslandExile in Time to walk away Wayne
I don't want Rooney as manager.
I didn't want him at the club in the first place.
But the club is in a terrible state. The squad is the poorest it's been for years.
And yet, Rooney has been very dignified throughout the past couple of very difficult months.*
I'm not sure any manager could save us this season.
We need a new owner, ownership of the stadium and an end to the EFL soap opera. Then we can have a total reset.
* Personal life excluded.

We’ve all seen @David’s apology, in my humble opinion do not take it on your shoulders. I have put my own thoughts in that topic but just wanted to show the appreciation for him by dedicating a topic to him.
Top bloke who I believe always acts in the best interest of the forum keep your chest pushed out and your head held high. With no David there would be no forum and for that alone I am grateful.
This should probably be in another thread but I’m guessing this is the most popular and where it will get the most views.
Thanks for all you have done and continue to do. ??

He has just become the new scapegoat for some.
He had an average game yesterday as did most of the team give them time and stop jumping on there backs after one match!!

WharfedaleRam got a reaction from dcfcreece1601 in What are the rules for going to PP?
Those who normally leave the ground at 4.40pm will be asked to leave at 3.10pm in order to start a process which will leave the ground empty by the time the full time whistle blows, thus ensuring social distancing is maintained.

WharfedaleRam reacted to Day in What are the rules for going to PP?
1) When a player misplaces a pass, boo as loud as you can
2) If we concede a goal, start singing we’re f’in poo, we’re f’in poo.
3) If we score a goal, start singing how poo must you be, we’ve scored a goal.
Nothing on Covid tests has been announced as yet, given tickets are now on sale I wouldn’t expect that to change.
Remember the stadium is contactless only now, so no cash.

WharfedaleRam got a reaction from Inverurie Ram in Fans not from Derbyshire...
Born in Durham, lived in Scotland, then Cheshire, which was the closest I've ever lived to Derby. Now in the Yorkshire Dales. Was the only kid in junior school with DCFC stitched onto my towel bag (you young uns might need to look that up?!). Watched the Rams' north eastern trips quite often but only set foot in the BBG once (and won the chance to go onto the pitch to meet the captains and referee David Elleray). I get to maybe half a dozen home games each season and whatever I can get to away. Subscribed to the Ram when it was newspaper size.

WharfedaleRam reacted to loweman2 in The colours of 1884 (please read)
After years of work and research here it is !
The Derby County shirt worn in the inaugural season of 1884 by the pioneers of our club, Cambridge Blue, Amber and Chocolate Brown the first colours of the Rams, it was thought that the early colours were blue but it was a shade of blue called Cambridge Blue which is actually more of a green. The badge was the badge of the Derbyshire FA that a player was permitted to wear if they had been selected to represent the Derbyshire FA.
we have had two made by a local tailor after we sourced the correct colours and the materials, the embroidery was done separately, even down to mother of Pearl buttons, it is to add further integrity to the book but moreover to show where the club evolved from, the team that wore these colours set the precedent for all those that have followed, the shirts will be on display at our Rams Heritage roadshows later in the year.
