Think back to last year
Did you make mid table fodder last season ? ?

Would you like the five minute argument or the ten minute ? This is the second such what if question from you tonight, can’t make up my mind whether you are being deliberately obtuse or not. ?

We wont hear anything this week I stake my mortgage on it, the EFL will sit on the accounts for weeks before anything happens.
Well they’ll sit on them til the transfer window shuts in my opinion on the off chance they are all ok and they can’t dock us any points. Next best thing, make sure we can’t improve the squad.
Got a lot to answer for, old Melly Boy.

Birmingham are my dark horses for a top 6 place this season.
I think Preston could have a tricky old season along with Huddersfield, Peterborough and Blackpool. I’m hoping with every fibre of my being Mr Pop’s Bristol City stink the division out and we finish above them. Tall order but one lives in hope.

I actually feel for Rooney tonight.
Now, I didn’t watch the game, saw the goals on SkySports News though and read people’s thoughts on the game who did either watch or attended.
His stats are not impressive and I can’t (or wouldn’t) attempt to defend them but boy, was he let down badly by some people’s choice of last season’s POTY today. You just can’t legislate for the mistake for their winner, it was amateur at best, downright criminal at worst.
Maybe Rooney should call it a day for his own sanity, I don’t know, but I’m not calling for his sacking tonight because I really feel he was shat on from a great height by a player who he thought was one he could rely on and he didn’t deserve that.
I do however acknowledge some of his decisions during the game didn’t impress some but then you always get that don’t you.

I seem to remember, although I've been watching so long my memory has gone, that we are often notoriously slow starters to a season.
Is it a recent thing, or not a thing at all?
Nice try Roy. ?

They work on zonal marking in training ? I thought Rooney just said “ Oh yeah, if they get a corner try some of that zonal marking I’m hearing about” as he sent them out for the match.

It's hideous and no chance would I even contemplate buying one.
Until we get the option of buying shirts without the likes of "Just Eat" and "32Red" emblazoned on the front then count me out - my belly looks big enough as it is!
If you email a lady called Mandy Hollis she’ll confirm you can buy shirts without the sponsor. Hope this helps. ?

Sorry to read about Ruby's issues. I hope it works out in the end. To your point about Rotties, I love the breed. Friend of mine has one and he's the soppiest of dogs. Remember as a teen doing a paper round which had several dogs. The worst was a Jack Russell but by far the best was a Rottie. Scared the bejeezus out of me first time, but then she rolled on to her back for tummy tickles. It became my favourite house on the round.
Thanks Bucks, your post actually means a lot to me tonight. And the Rottie you described rolling over for tummy tickles is our Ruby to a tee. She’s a really happy contented dog who loves meeting people bless her. She’s been pulled about a bit today so subsequently suffering a bit tonight. It’s sad to see. ?

Just got back from one of the country’s most renowned specialists for treating dogs with hip dysplasia and the news wasn’t the best.
Ruby has basically got no socket for the ball of her hip joint to slip into. They seemed very reluctant to carry out a hip replacement operation and have suggested 6 weeks total rest, a new drug and the possibility of removing the ball of her hip joint which means she’ll walk like she’s drunk but be pain free.
I know some have a pre conceived idea of the Rottweiler but I was compensated a little when a nurse told us she was a star and the best Rottie they had ever examined so to those who have doubts about the breed, please, judge the owner not the breed.

Hats off to the young lads here. Was doom and gloom on here and twitter after 20 mins. Well done boys
I’m following the game on here and am encouraged by the positivity I’m reading. It’s good to see. The state of the club is well documented and enough to bring a tear to a glass eye but reading some of the posts tonight has made me feel a bit better about things. ?

Somebody posted a picture of a bus seat and the resemblance to this new second kit was uncanny. Don’t think it’ll be a big seller myself.
Think they’ve made a tactical error with this one but hey, what do I know ? ?♂️

What do we need an away kit for ? Peterborough play in blue shirts white shorts and blue socks don’t they ?
