Good news for @B4ev6is Eric Steele is back on commentary for Salford and Forest.
Aye, and I heard he’ll be wearing the pink away shirt from last season. ?

Is this a deliberate stalling tactic by the club in the hope that the longer this goes on the more disinterested people will become?
Or are they biding their time for some castostropic piece of news to drop so they can conceal the release in the shadow of that?
To be honest Tyler I’m now of the opinion that anything earth shattering or interesting would have already been posted (elsewhere) by either the Punjabi Rams or that chappie from Ramstrust.
I’ve got a bit of sympathy with David here because he’s trying to do what’s right for his forum and the same for the club who chose his forum to go into a kind of partnership with.
The proverbial rock and a hard place spring to mind.

Of course soccer is an older name for the game than football..
*puts on tin hat
Is it ? I thought it came from Association Football, which suggested to me that wasn’t quite the case. Happy to corrected though.
The point stands though that no one I am/was associated with used the term soccer when referring to playing, attending or watching the game. ?♂️
Just to add, why then aren’t clubs known as So & so Soccer Club ? Every club is FC, not one is SC ?

I’m the same with soccer. Star Soccer on ITV when I was a lad, Soccer Saturday on Sky oddly enough on Saturdays.
I have never in my life had anybody ask me if I was going to the soccer, if I fancied a game of soccer or if planned watching the soccer on the telly. IT’S FOOTBALL FOR HEAVENS SAKE.

Yes, the Please Don’t Blame Morris and Pearce being the most ridiculous thread ever posted on this forum. Or any forum anywhere...ever.

I was always under the impression players only went to Turkey towards the end of their careers for one last payday after no one else showed any interest in them, in other words, a bit of a graveyard in their career.
While I find him frustrating because I think he’s better than his performances for us indicate, I would be loathe to let him go just yet. A) because I think we might see an improvement from him as the season progresses and B) I don’t think Turkey is the place for him.

Currently that’s true but if Marshall moves on that would free up a spot
Oh, that’s handy. I misunderstood, I though that was our lot. The big question for me though is will Jagielka wait for that to happen ? Might somebody slip in on the blindside and offer him better terms ? And will there be any interest in Marshall come to think of it ?

It’s a point and better than last season opening game
we still still look tiny and we need Jagielka and not to mention a centre forward
From what I read in the embargo thread Jags is a non starter. Used our quota up with Morrison’s signing today apparently.

He got injured in training apparently.

Tell you what, all things considered, it wouldn’t surprise me if 20 thousand is one of the better attendances today. Luton Preston QPR and Blackburn are all at home today and I’ll be surprised if any of them top it. Maybe Sheffield United might but that’ll be about it.

For the last two seasons, we've finished above you, I think that is the new normal...unless??
Ah, the first one was a flash in the pan and last season’s was a kind of protest to put the fear of God up Morris. We had to make it look realistic for the maximum effect but our staying up was, of course, never in doubt. ?

This. Spot on. For tomorrow at least, if you have called the club a joke/laughing stock/embarrassment over the last few months please stay away, I'd hate you to feel embarrassed about being a Rams fan.
I’ll take this as a direct dig at my post last night you took exception to.
Those are two national companies taking the rise out of this club in the last fortnight. They are not taking the piss out of Huddersfield, Barnsley, Reading or any other championship club. No. They are taking it out of Derby County Football Club.
But why are they taking the piss out of DCFC ? BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN RUN IN A SHAMBOLIC MANNER BY A MAN, THE ONLY MAN, IN THE ENTIRE CHAMPIONSHIP THAT COULD MAKE FAWAZ LOOK COMPETENT.
To that end, I’ll respect your right to respond in the manner you saw fit while reserving the right post, after reading the above links my opinion the current owner has indeed reduced this football club from one to be admired not that long ago to one national press are laughing at, ie a laughing stock.
But don’t worry, I won’t be there tomorrow, I don’t qualify as a good enough fan.
Enjoy the game, after all we both hope for the same result.

Have you made a typo because while I’m impressed you got SkySports for a tenner, I don’t get what’s “nice” about your bill going from £72 to 82. ?
