That still rankles with me now and I (like many) said at the time that if other clubs got in trouble that we'd like to think that we wouldn't stoop to that sort of stuff. I still stand by that, apart from the obvious and IMHO necessary exception of Birmingham City who didn't just do it, they took absolute delight in it when we were about to slip under. At that time were looked utterly screwed and they loved every minute of it....... 96th minute.. f*** you...

Boro, Birmingham or Wycombe, and I have absolutely no sympathy and will happily join in.

SOME Wycombe fans (and I stress "some") are now in the stage of trying to justify what Coupiggy is doing:

The difference is "pal", that no other clubs actively did things that jeopardised the survival of Wycombe in the way that their owner has now done to 2 clubs.

What a t***.

Maybe if they had some fans they could have afforded to employ someone to do that most necessary of tasks that is ‘ripping down curtains’. I don’t know about anyone else but I hate having to do that. I don’t mind drawing them or hanging them but I consider ripping down curtains to be a job you definitely need to employ a specialist for.

Reports that Reading are on the verge of being sold to some Yanks - is it cynical to think that the Reading owner may have used Wycombe and the training ground sale in order to extert pressure on the new buyers to get a move on?

Hope so, I have no great love of Reading but no antipathy either. Pray they get it done and that these buyers aren't Kirchner 2.0. We can all appreciate how emotional and helpless we can feel at times like this. Reading fans deserve to have a club, and one that is run well, for them, and that lose to Derby every time we play them.

It would be great if Moonpig, or Couhig, or whatever tries to get the ground, fails, makes the whole football world see what a leach and vulture he is. I know he won't care but people like that need ostracising from the game.

Wycombe Wanderers Football Club and Feliciana have to put on hold the discussions and ongoing due diligence due to seeming planning limitations allowing only Reading FC to use the training grounds.

Well that's rather silly, isn't it.

Fair play to any of the Wycombe fans that turned out alongside Reading fans in protest last night.

Depends on what their motives were. Maybe they didn’t like the idea of throwing a rival club a lifeline.

seriously though. I don’t really think that is likely to have been the case so, respect.

Two wrongs...

Agreed.

Regardless of how many barstewards there are in the Reading, Boro, Wycombe, Birmingham and even Forest fanbases, there will still be many that are utterly devastated by the prospect of their club going under. B4 was one in a million, but each fanbase will have their own versions of him and others that don't deserve to go through that crap. I hope they keep their club.

So Quantuma paid out and it went on the bill for Clowes Development?, Hate to sound a sceptic...but Couhig says a lot of things as he's a loud mouthed Yank.

As the story in the DET was dated 26th August 2022 it's not in those accounts as account was up to June 2022, So I await the next accounts in November 2024

New accounts released yesterday. Although our "friend" Kieran Maguire says they're not detailed enough to reveal this.

Cheers for that 👏

I've just spoken to my Daughter she's HMRC and maybe @CBRammette could explain more, Because WW go down as a small company they do not have to detail if any monies were paid by DCFC and others, As Couhig said he was paid off by Quantuma(Administrators)...assuming the bill then went on to David Clowes...only that if Quantuma did pay then they'd be liable for the Tax 🤷‍♂️

Until someone shows me an actual cheque stub/bank statement or very large brown envelope i'll go for Couhig blowing smoke up WWs supporters ass holes

Not my area but if they count as small company the accounts they file with Companies House dont have to show as much detail as you say. Totally agree with your sentiments re Couhig. Odious individual
