Crewton
I can remember when we didn't have a pot to p*SS in, permanent or otherwise! Caerphilly Ram, Ted McMinn Football Genius, Derby4Me and 4 others 1

How can we "loop-hole" the deal if it has to be ratified by the EFL. They would look even more ridiculous than they currently do if they subsequently say they're not satisfied with the terms and then null and void the transfer. Might restrict us brining in other loans this month 5 in a matchday squad, so I doubt that'll be a problem.

Unless I've completely misinterpreted it, it also says we can't add permanently unless we sold Bird or Cashin. Guessing that's based on finances? Gerry Daly
Yes or the permanent pot could be £500K or something so £300K out of it wouldn't leave enough for someone we have lined up. It doesn't mean the permanent pot is £300K or less. Its encouraging to think we have money for permanent signings and loans sage

hintonsboots
So there’s a permanent pot which is empty, so there isn’t one really unless we sell a player, and a loan pot, which we could access for Michael Smith if Sheffield W drop the loan fee nonsense. Anyhow cracking signing CBT.

The fact that there even is a 'permanent pot' suggests there's at least something in it. Even if it is just a couple of quid found down the back of the sofa 🤣

Ghost of Clough
19 minutes ago, therealhantsram said: In English please? If signed on a 3 year deal for £300k, £100k would be amortised per year. However, if we paid a £300k loan fee and signed him in the summer, we would take the full £300k hit this season, allowing us to spend more in future seasons.
