He’s not injured anymore, he’s 24, he’s experienced promotion from league one twice before and during Sunderland’s promotion season he had 14 goal involvements from midfield (8 goals and 6 assists in 38 games). Last year before his injury he played in 23 games and had 2 goals and 2 assists. He adds depth to the squad, is “the right age”, and has done it at this level before. Mobile without being quick. Neat, two footed, doesn't produce enough end product at Championship level, kind of does at League One level.
