Just never create enough and always conceded a goal or two. It definitely needed tweaking. Keepyuppy Posted July 19, 2022 Share Posted July 19, 2022 (edited) A change in style for away games could give us an additional 10-12 points over a season, we might not win many, but we’ll stop the never ending away defeats. Most of our goals conceded last season were from us giving the ball away cheaply and leaving our defence exposed. It had to change - they say a definition of madness is ‘keep doing the same thing, but expecting a different outcome’. Its also bloody boring football !! When everyone and their dog could already tell you that what you're doing won't work against certain opposition, and provide multiple examples of it not working.. ...what have we learned from the previous valuable learning experiences? They've won pretty much every friendly they have played, including west brom the other day, and barely shipped a goal. I am not at all surprised by tonights performance or result, I actually thought we'd get beat today. However, the missus was insistent I not miss out, so I watched pretty much the whole game. Eventually the favour will have to be returned, and I'm not sure it will possibly be worth it.
