I think you might find that some can’t afford it due to the terrible state of the economy and cost of living crisis…..will impact on numbers I think….

Oh of course, without doubt - it’s sad, but people should absolutely prioritise more important things than football. I definitely shouldn’t have just spent £450 on a season ticket when I live in London, for example!

Numbers will be down division wide because of that however, so I hope our attendances remain big relative to the rest of the league.

Should have gone to Bradford,£10 to get in £1.99 a pint in Wetherspoon.

Was just speculating about how the price of living rises will only squeeze a certain portion of society meaning they won't be able to go and watch footy games.

One of my mates just bought a Forest season ticket and was moaning that EDF now take £550 a month off him for his utility bills.

He lives in a house where one of his neighbours used to be Brice Samba. So 60 quid a month extra for a season ticket is neither here nor there for him. But for someone else that 60 quid could be totally vital.

Managed to get 3 tickets against oxford for me and a couple of mates for my 30th ?

didn’t really know where to put this and it’s been a while since I got the train, does the waterfall still have the pool tables in the back does anyone know? If so is it likely to get a table on match day?

cheers ?

Ask him  if Mr Samba takes two hours to pick the milk bottles up off the porch in a morning.?

He said he lived a very secluded life, allegedly his family were still in France which was the real reason for his transfer not because he was a greedy git.

He apparently only went out occasionally to the casino as a social life. Don't have any other gossip on him unfortunately.

I hope for Mr Clowes we fill the place. Reckon it will be high 20’s for Oxford.

Allowing for those who think L1 is beneath them or energy bills have a greater priority, we’ll still be over 20k regularly

Yeah, it would be great to see crowds come out for Clowes, who would obviously would love the income to help with running costs.

If you can do your bit, do your bit. Obviously there are bigger issues and concerns in the world. Important to look after each other and I’m sure we can carry that on next season - donating tickets, etc.

For me, I genuinely see no greater or lesser pull in the division - Championship, League One or League Two - it doesn’t really matter one jot to me. I would actually take the regular Saturday matches as preference, obviously the end goal is to be in the Premier League but at this rate that’s nothing but a pipe dream.

I reckon around 21,000 to 23,000 opening day would be good given it it school holidays. I have a ST but will not be there as will others I know.

if we stabilise at around 25,000 then that will be very good, the economic situation will be a factor especially for those traveling a distance.

25k most weeks I think

Sadly I think we will average nearer  20k unless we go an a great run.

A lot of people missed two sessions re Covid and MM. They will be harder to lure back than many think.

Factor in the cost of living crisis and we will nky hit 25k a handful of times this season.

If people's leccy bill keeps rising, it wont be long before it's cheaper to head down to the ground for a couple of hours rather than staying at home watching TV ?

Well for me more of reason to get back to pp and support the lads.

You would have suspected so wouldn't you. Just hope that it won't turn football into some sort of elitist event.

Was at the T20 at Trent Bridge last week paid 70 quid for a ticket, place was sold out months ago, 23 quid for 4 beers, bars were rammed.

So some people still have the disposable income floating around even with the cost of living hikes.

Crikey! T20 really rakes the money in, doesn't it?  ?
