Lost 2-0 at home to Hull tonight, not exactly something to be fearful of.

This is the kind of game we're going to really have to win if we want to keep sight of those ahead. A couple more poor results soon and we're going to have too much to do.

We can play them into form, it’s the Derby way for many of years.

What hurt a lot about the second half on Saturday was exactly what Rooney said. Game management. The first 10 minutes of that half we should have kicked the ball in to there half with every touch in our half.
You get the ball high and wide, somewhere a defender has to deal with it keep frustrating them. Once they’re initial effort and press dies down, start playing football again. Even Real Madrid did this when they won 3 champions leagues on the spin. No team is above it.
What made it worse was a goalkeeper (who in my opinion has been solid this season) after we concede a goal passes to a midfielder under pressure. Get Buchanan high and wide hit the ball him.

Id bring Fozzy into the team that started at Blackburn. Much more consistent this season. I’d add Plange instead of Ebiowie too.

Rooney surprised a lot of fans by letting Beilik warm the bench in the 2nd half v Blackburn as we were getting bombarded. How come he didn’t bring on “The Beast” to sort things out. Was he worried about Krystian getting “roughed up”? Wayne has had a good look at him now , does he rate him? We will find out when the team comes out.

One option assuming we continue to play out from the back is to play him at centre back. He’s our best footballer, can deal with a press and will make fewer mistakes than others. And it makes sense if he’s struggling with fitness -  he’ll need to put fewer miles on the clock than in midfield.

In a back 4 or in a 3 at the back ? Definitely an option…

Expect Bielik to return tomorrow, I’m not going to criticise Rooney after the miracles he has performed this year but I would have thought Bielik would have been more suited to the Blackburn game than the Bournemouth one, Blackburn are the more physical team and his strength could have helped. Thought Thompson got bullied a bit on Tuesday?!

It’s been quite a negative week with the Blackburn defeat and people getting angry the lack of progress with exiting administration. When the chips are down, when people are writing us off, and the clubs lowest moments this season this group of players and coaching staff have delivered, again and again. And they will again tomorrow.

COYR!!!! ??????????
