FlyBritishMidland
@Owen87ITK is it possible to use your contacts to get something out there? It’s the East Midlands Derby this weekend and it seems an ideal time to try and get something on football focus or similar. Never agreed with him ever playing for our club. He was a donkey. Takes more than twirling a scarf at the shitty ground for me to change my mind. The type of footballer/character I never want to see at this club again. SirBrian
IslandExile
I've just emailed the ITV Central news team (thanks @SecretDave for the address) to say this: I understand that you will be covering the Derby County versus EFL story on your programme this evening, and in particular the petition that is generating so much support from fans of other clubs. Thank you for doing so. If you find someone from the EFL to comment, you may wish to ask whether the EFL by not ending the chancer claims from Middlesbrough and Wycombe are preventing the Administrators from carrying out their legal duty to secure funding from new owners. That funding will pay the creditors the monies that they are entitled to. Another point, you may like to raise is that Rick Parry, the Chairman of the EFL, has stated in response to Supporters Groups' questions that he is not aware of the details of the claims from Middlesbrough and Wycombe. Do you not think that he should have a full understanding since those claims are threatening the very existence of a founder member of the Football League? Norman
Kieran Maguire used on Central News to provide expert analysis on the situation. cosmic
Not expecting much from the ITV Central story - they've apparently interviewed that berk from America who has all of a sudden become a mega-fan of the "Ram family" (sic) on Twitter. Can't wait to hear how devastating it will be for him, his family, and community if Derby County cease to exist - especially after being devoted to the club for a full 12 months of its history. eccles the ram
What about trying to get the 'true' football fans of other football clubs on board with this? The plight of our beautiful club is in the balance and most teams fans have been drip-fed snippets of info. about the details of our demise. There may be an apathy there amongst most. It's not affecting their team. So, no skin off their nose! Wrong, it could happen to YOUR TEAM and then you would feel how many many thousands of DCFC fans are currently feeling, distraught, worried and helpless. To the 'true' football fans out there please please could you at least show your support by CLAPPING FOR DCFC at every football match for a minute after 84 MINUTES this weekend. At least it will show that 'true' football fans are together and, rivalries aside they really deep down do care about us surviving.WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT IF FOREST FANS COULD JOIN US ON SATURDAY TELEVISED MATCH JOINED IN. Now THAT is a STATEMENT TO THE EFL and the rest of us. DTID. Kathcairns
