I have some experience with charities. There's a thing called "donor fatigue".

The current petition includes lots of signatures from supporters of other clubs. We should focus on that one petition.

Asking fans from those other clubs to sign a second petition will not meet with the same enthusiasm. That will result in a petition with fewer signatures than the first and result in the opposite impact than the one the proponents are hoping.

Seriously... Focus all efforts on this first petition. It's quantity that matters here.

The parliamentary mechanism requires 100,000 signatures to get something discussed - at some time in the future - in parliament. It won't get 100,000 and, even if it did, it wouldn't happen in time.

A far bigger impact will be achieved by the first petition obtaining as many signatures as possible. Everyone should work to achieve that - and to get it covered in the national media.

All we need to do .. is get our message/plea out to as many people as possible with the hope of either putting pressure on the EFL or finding that person that can help unblock the impass we appear to be in.

What we want is some good legal guy to start a class action against the EFL for the heartbreak and mental stress that they have caused to 30,000 dcfc fans @ say £3000 per person. Just like Middlesbrough just send them the bill and say like Boro it just wants paying no courts involved. Collectively we could all buy the rams with the settlement,!!!

Just seen the DM has published an article on it but pushed the Niall Horan backing. Still publicity for the petition though

It’s the Daily Fail, it’s only gotten coverage at all because Niall’s backed it. Not because it’s a founder member on the verge of disappearing from existence…?
