Q after Dawes revelations went into panic mode, My friend and Q knew of the wages not being paid to CKs employers on Wednesday, Some ex DCFC directors don't seem to be that impressed with CK, They think he's a braggart a little loud but likes to be liked, On a personnel note my friend thinks a little jealousy has crept in with how CK made his money...ie got lucky.

Q now have a mountain to climb, According to Dorset, Percy, Nixon, Dawes and anyone else who's reported the story they seem to be batting for their PB/Owner, Whether it be Morgan, Appleby, Ashley or even Kirchner who knows?‍♀️, Q and the EFL are at odds with each other and have been for several months, It looks like the EFL are trying to put all the blame on Q as the paperwork they saw for the fit and proper owner came from Q.

My friend said he stands by on what he was told yesterday, Most of us will have someone in our group that like to bluster and maybe give out a little BS, My friend is not one of those types, He's a genuine person who I'd stand up for and is not afraid to stand up for his mates.

if the story in the athletic is true about him owing outstanding wages to some employees and 800k to a sponsorship deal he made then it really doesnt bode well

I might be a bit old school but all the stuff on twitter, parading at PP, his bird getting involved with Forest fans on twitter when they got promotted allegedly (i dont do twitter, @RoyMac5 is my goto man on here ?) did not impress me.If he'd done his business quietly, discretly like a Swiss banker that would have given me more confidence in the bloke running our club. And Swiss bankers have money.

In my opinion, the takeover won’t take long to be completed because most of the issues have been sorted already. So it is just a case of someone agreeing a deal with the administrators and the EFL. Then you have to wait for all the creditors to be paid and the EFL will be pushing hard for a deal to be completed as the fixture list is released on the 23rd and pre season starts on the 27th.

Totally agree, hes conducted himself like an adolescent teen or flawaz on social media

In my book thats not how u conduct business, in the open and public domain. 

Just smacks of naivety as does his attempt to move significant monies at the last minute

No, The impression I got was 5pm Friday, I've no time at all for the EFL, But Q have been leading the show, We blame MM for where we were, I blame Q for where we're At!, They're convinced the money is there as they've said they've seen it, Trouble is accessing this Loot, If money is cleared on Monday then CK will lead the pack, But there's some baggage to negotiate ie us the supporter, We don't like to be messed about, Kept in the dark and fed on BS, Our suspicions concerning CK are now on here for all to read, If he comes through with the money which Q are hoping there will still be questions thrown at him for the mess this is.

That all sounds about right Alf, certainly how it seems from the outside too. All media outlets are leaking stories from their own sources , who all have their own agenda.

This delay will likely cost us Rooney, Rosenior, a load of contract renewals and a load of transfer targets. We've gone from having a plan and a way forward to complete chaos with hardly any time to completely rebuild a squad ravaged by administration. Absolutely no chance we challenge next season. Back to the treading water (at best) and uncertainty we've had for the last two years.

Everyone involved in this administration process, be it Quantuma, the EFL, Gibson, Morris, Kirchner etc has been utterly incompetent and the staff, players and fans are being treated with utter contempt by anyone in a position to do anything about it.

did he mean morgan by 5pm today .. or is he saying he expected morgan to be announced yesturday at 5pm .. ie after u spokE to him?

The longer it takes for ‘the money’ to clear, the more suspicious people will be. Does the money actually exist? if so, is there something slightly iffy about it?

Pure supposition, but someone who is clearly willing to take financial risks (as he’s admitted by making a killing on crypto) may also take risks to get the best return on his capital - it’s possible the money has been in some offshore tax haven rather than sitting in CK’s US bank account - that will raise all sorts of flags with the authorities and should make us worry about future funding as well - it may all clear and CK may be the saviour we’re all hoping for, but he certainly has some serious questions to answer if we ever get to the end of this nightmare.

Yes spoke to him last night, I received a quick call from him yesterday afternoon saying Steve Morgan will be DCFCs new owner, It was last nights call that I was told that Steve Morgan was expected to be the new owner at Friday at 5pm

Sadly you’re bang on.

I’d be delighted with trading water next season though. If (and it’s still a big if) we still have a club in League One next season, there’s now a strong possibility we’ll start on -15.  Pre season starts in a couple of weeks and we won’t have any players and very likely no manager.  It’s hard to see anything other than a relegation battle. Sorry to sound negative but it feels so bleak. I’m desperately hoping for some good news.

Speed is of the essence, I hope whoever it is that does the deal is prepared to pick up cks agreements but with actual money - it's a big ask (would you spend £30m without being sure about the contracts you're signing?) but new negaotiations are going to take too long.

Cheers for the updates @Unlucky Alf - I've no reason to doubt you/your friend and I hope everyone remembers the situation is fluid and doesn't give you grief if something else ends up being the state of play.

As with CK, his McMansion built on sand and as KM said on the talk Derby pod yesterday he's probably "robbing Peter to pay paul" with things right now.
