Thanks but no thanks Mr Birch.

We’d prefer you and your sort to stay as far away from our club as possible!

The EFL have humiliated Derby County .

Hope they can sleep at night .

I think the worrying part is:

Quote

The suspended three-point deduction will take effect if the Club does not comply with the terms of the budget as set out in the ‘Agreed Decision’ for the remainder of season 2021/22.

I wonder what the agreed decision is in regards to the above? I would suggest without any doubt that January sales are inevitable in order to meet it - leaving us open to getting picked off. I can't imagine we can register any new contracts until the above is met either, so it's not just a case of taking the three points and moving on.

I would say at least this is all behind us, but let's be honest - I highly doubt this is the last we ever hear of this.

Right I can't face reading through everything.

Can we sign players?

Can we offer new deals?

How long do we have to have that £12,100 a week maximum salary?

Yes can offer new deals.

Salary cap lasts till the end of the season.

You don't need to read the whole decision, the budget restrictions are just the last 2 pages of the report.

Really saccharine statement from the EFL that galls.

Trevor Birch, EFL Chief Executive said: “The EFL’s objective throughout this ongoing process has been to ensure that the principles of the Regulations were upheld on behalf of all Clubs......."except of course if they get promotion as a result of blatantly ignoring those rules then we'll quietly...ahem.....ignore it".

Does this finally mean we can finally move on from this mess....finally?

And roll on independent regulator please.

Can I have a link for the report mate?

So this 12000 a week salary cap is just for the rest of this season?

The "Agreed Decision" is just the document name basically in this link:

https://www.efl.com/contentassets/065e21d5596b42e7a882322d3a203509/efl-v-dcfc-agreed-decision-approved-for-publication-15-november-2021.pdf

The last 2 pages is the business plan we have to adhere to for the rest of the season, or we get the 3 points.

Next season, can we go ballistic?

Errr uhm, I mean, will we still have a business plan imposed on us?

Player wages budget of £15.775 million and max 25 permitted players to the end of the season ... How does that compare to where we are now? The definition of player is now someone who has played 3 league matches at Champ level or higher.

It seems to apply only until the end of this season.
