I stuck predicted results for us only into the https://thefishy.co.uk/calc.php predictor. Wins against Bristol, Blackpool and Cardiff, draws against the other 3, then let the predictor do its thing. Final table looked like this :-

Derby - 40

Reading  - 37

Barnsley  - 36

Peterborough - 30

So even a computer thinks 9 points might be enough for us.

On paper Barnsley have a relatively easy run in, be surprised if they ended up on only 36 points….

Reading predicted to get 3pts from 7 games ? They have took 8 pts from the last 7. That will be a massive collapse in form. Hope the computer is right.

I just tried it and this time Reading got 43 points ...

I think you might have been lucky!

I've got both Derby & Reading on 39 points, with Derby in 21st position, on goal difference, to stay up.

Barnsley on 38 points.

In the last 3 games Reading have beaten Blackburn at home and more importantly Ince has taught them how to battle for a point at Bournemouth and Barnsley. Wazza has to do the same as the odd away point could make the difference.

I'm not sure I'd call that a 'massive' loss of form, but I would be surprised if they didn't pick up a similar return from their final 7 games, although like us the line between victory and defeat has generally been very narrow.

The Fishy predictor is just a bit of fun, of course.

Can see Reading winning 3 games easily, and Barnsley for that matter with their home games they have left.

We have to win on Saturday imo to keep the pressure on and hope we can get at least 1 good result from the 2 Easter games

I've done the predictor and have both us and Reading on 40 points, us staying up on goal difference
