Forest easily sold out at Wembley and had much higher attendances than us this season.

£200 + mill by time the parachute payments are done with. Even if they f*** it up they'll still have a huge advantage if we ever play each other again.

U do know weve had an a******* of a season while theyve had their best for like ever… and they got 4k more than us…. Hardly much higher given the two sets of circumstances

The only way got there when efl deduction of point before that forest were below us if was not for that and transfear embargo it would have been derby there not them.

Lets face it us and Forest have churned through enough managers over the past number of seasons and Forest have managed to get a half decent one in before we did. Hence the result today.

It's not like we've had enough time at it.

On paper, yes, but it didn't do Stoke much good and their owners are as rich as Croesus (who, apparently, was even richer than Mary Knackers).

What happens at PP this week is far more important than what happened today.

Poor quality game, I’d have fancied our chances at Wembley today.

100% and unfortunately was always going to be.

Watched the Play Off Semis with a Blades mate and we both said that for Forest and Sheff U to even make the play offs from each of their positions was indicative of how poor the rest were. The same can be said for Derby getting anywhere near staying up. All three deserve credi, don’t get me wrong, but there’s a good number of clubs in the mix that need to ask some serious questions about what happened.

Some serious questions for Forest once all the celebrations die down. A) they’ve gone up playing the Leeds way, which has been worked out by the Prem clubs B) Arguably your best players are on loan aside Johnson C) What happens when your luck runs out?

Questions for another day maybe

Calm down. 4k is a lot when it comes to the championship and weve been as low as 16k this year. They've had better support this year - deal with it. They had higher attendances this season, they had higher attendances last season and they definitely will have higher attendances next season.

Not sure if they got more last season because they’d have had around the same as us 0

Huddersfield didn’t look arsed at all but regardless of that they were diddled out of 2 pens.

Nightmare season for us. The only positive is that things can only get better. Unless next season we go down again and Leeds win the FA Cup, Forest the League cup and Leicester the league.

Forest's improved attendances since Marinakis took over are mainly down to them making season tickets for the under 23s as cheap as chips, which is a good policy when you've got  6,000 empty seats. They got a further boost of a couple of thousand after Cooper took over and turned them around. Well done them, but it's hardly unheard of.

Our sub-20K attendances were entirely due to the ticketing restrictions we had at the start of the season. I'm surprised you didn't mention that? Then, when we finally got the ticketing system working, we went into Administration and relegation was all but confirmed, even before the further -9 points were agreed. Yet, attendances continued to rise modestly and never fell back.

If you know of any other teams whose attendances actually increased in our circumstances, I might concede you have a point?

Couldn’t agree more with your last sentence.

Forest in the play offs feels like us in 2007. Poor quality season and two streaky wins in the play off ties, one on penalties.

Whether their season after ends up like ours that time will depend on a few things. They will need to get some very good permanent signings and hang onto Johnson. And Bournemouth and Fulham will struggle also so I can see all three promoted teams coming straight back down.
