We won’t go down

Que sera sera

Stay up and we’ll have a party, the talk will be of new owners, new managers, clear outs, Bielik coming back

Go down and we’ll be miserable, we will have to endure the baiting from down the A52 but we will still be playing football. It’s a game of 11 v 11. A full stadium and us hitting the back of the net ..it will happen, it will be ok (we’ll mostly) we will renew our vows. The club is bigger than a player a manager an owner or even a building .. it’s part of our fabric of life. It’s a bit worn, tired and under maintained at the moment, but it’s still ours and it isn’t going away no matter who we play on Saturday at 3.00

meanwhile .. come on Luton

By the logic of us only needing a draw going into the last game, we've also only needed a draw in any one of the last 6 (SIX) games. Didn't happen in any of those games, what makes anyone think its more likely now?

The performance has to be different, fundamentally. If it isn't different, we are likely going down.

So the question really is: How likely is it that the performance is different?

Or we've been denied chances like penalties.

So like every other team in the country then?

To you maybe. There's no need to deny we've had good chances at times and not taken them.

So like every other team in the country then?

Yes, that's right - so you missed seeing them afterall. ?

My point is, all of those problems named have impacted every other team in the league, and yet we've the least goals. That's not because we're unlucky, that's because we're badly coached and badly set up.

So when Bielik was playing we were badly coached then !

So Rooney didn’t set up the team well at all when Bielik played !

Not really the point. He hasn't set them up well to compensate for his loss.

Why hasn't Shinnie been coached to provide an effective shield for the defence and played within his limits?

If he was coached to play the game like Eustace did for us we be better off, instead we've often used him as the only player breaking forward from midfield,  meaning he's often out of position when defending the edge of our box. Knight & Sibley could have been alternated in that role with Shinnie sitting.

We need to have a plan of our own, some discipline, players knowing their role and sticking to it.  Instead we've tried to be too 'clever' despite Rooney's supposed simplification of tactics
