Duck knows! But I'd rather chuck the kitchen sink at trying then just attempt to hold out for a point.

                         Roos
Byrne  Edmundson  Clarke  Buchanan
                       Shinnie
  Roberts  Watson  Sibley  Lawrence
                      Cybulski

Subs: Marshall, Forsyth, Bird, Waghorn, Kazim, Ebosele, Knight, J Brown, Shonibare

Roos in for Marshall. Buchanan to start over Forsyth (I just think he adds more attacking intent). Shinnie on his own in front of the back 4 running round like a madman breaking up play. Watson to start at AM alongside Sibbo. Big Bartosz up front (haven't been too impressed with Kaz over the last few games and we don't have many other options). I'm assuming Wiz and Jozwiak aren't fit, so left them off the bench.

Come on lads! No one wants a relegation on their CV! ?

Good shout. I like the look of that team. Was thinking yesterday, did our downturn in form coincide with Roos being replaced by Marshall. The 3 or 4 games he played in net, he really did save us on several oocasions.

Forest were trying to lose that one though. Till they realised Birmingham having something to play for against us was better.  3-0 loss against Sheff Wednesday up next .

Not very good at it then as they ended up drawing ?

Yes, we got 20 shots in one game against, funnily enough, Birmingham
I'm hoping that's a sign

No sure if Sibley has played against the same full back last two times we've played them .  If so and he's playing at the minute I'd stick him in as he seems to tear him a new arse.

No idea for this one, we've tried kids, we've tried experience, we've tried every formation known to man - lets just stick our best 11 on paper in and see if they can do something!

I'd stab at

Marshall

Byrne Edmondson Clarke Forsyth

Sibley Knight Shinnie Lawrence

Waghorn CKR

Should have plenty of energy, a front 6 that are capable of scoring at this level, full backs who are capable of overlapping and crossing, a couple of players who can produce out of nothing, a couple of dead ball specialists... something might come from it.

Need to go 2 up top for a better chance of scoring/winning, surely Roobydoo can see this? He would probably want to go 3-5-2 to match Brum if he could, but can't see him doing that with our limited and very left footed options, so he'll likely go 4-4-2 . He'll still probably start Ebosele or something totally unexpected.

I despair as I'm typing. On the day I might tear my hair out at some of the players, but there's no doubt the manager doesn't help things.

Not a bad looking side. Roberts perhaps a bit unlucky to miss out...is Joswiak injured?

Trying to stay rational here but it is hard.

We’re definitely the favourites to stay up of rovrum, wendies and us. Teams have stayed up with less points than we have now. I think we will pick up points in the next three, starting tomorrow.

if we stay up, I’m inclined to say keep Rooney and see what he can do (largely as it would be so expensive to sack him and we can hardly do much worse than this season)

I did lose a lot of faith though when we played Barnsley and, although we drew, we decided to play them at their own game and tactically chose to play actual hoofball

So keep Wazza because we can’t afford to sack him ?
