Keeping the faith, if no new  players turn up, we still have enough to beat Reading, seen Lawrence training, no Rooney or Waghorn yet. 

Looking forward to a Derby 2-0 victory, the keeper and defence will be a solid base to build from, so come on all u negative fans, let's get behind Cocu and the Boys, and drive them onto victory.

Lawrence doing some light running, not team sessions. Cocu said he'd be out longer than expected, even mentioned "weeks".

Not sure what’s ‘weird’ about my comment? I’m just a realist - as it stands with 48 hours to go we have limited options in attack and little in the way of creativity from midfield. The way we play under Cocu is easy to play against and Reading are a decent side so I stand by my prediction.

Given our squad, without additions, I'm also very pessimistic this weekend. Only thing that gives me cause for pause, is Reading seem to be a bit of a basket case on the face of it, despite having some decent players. Having appointed Veljko Paunović, who's only ever managed in the MLS, to replace Bowen on the 29th August. They wanted to keep Bowen, but he left a few days later refusing to comment in case he got in trouble!
