Sparkle
I feel a bit sorry for sibley as we currently think he is the main hope for a goal and so will the opponent who will try to break him in half - time for Marriott to turn up and score goals
Inverurie Ram
Which side are you lot on?.............what a load of "we're going to lose, going nowhere, negative nannies"..... get behind em! I 'm with @SaintRamand @SKRam Come back and focus again! Cocu's Jigsaw is falling into place. Just as you take my hand Just as you write my number down Just as the drinks arrive Just as they play your favourite song As your bad day disappears No longer wound up like a spring Before you had too much Come back and focus again The walls are bending shape They've got a Cheshire cat grin All blurring into one This place is on a mission Before the night owl Before the animal noises Closed circuit cameras Before you're comatose Before you run away from me Before you're lost between the notes The beat goes round and round The beat goes round and round I never really got there I just pretended that I had Words are blunt instruments Words are sawed-off shotguns Come on and let it out Come on and let it out Come on and let it out Come on and let it out Before you run away from me Before you're lost between the notes Just as you take my mic Just as you dance, dance, dance Jigsaw falling into place So there is nothing to explain You eye each other as you pass She looks back, you look back Not just once Not just twice Wish away the nightmare Wish away the nightmare You've got a light, you can feel it on your back A light, you can feel it on your back Jigsaw falling into place Up The Rams. I love Phillip Cocu.

RadioactiveWaste
I think we'll be ok. We were rubbish against barrow and in pre season, but, the return to league action will surely focus the minds and we are nowhere near as bad as some would have you believe. We might be well short of top six but we're nowhere near relegation fodder either.
Inverurie Ram
We are currently in the championship as.....played none, won none, lost none, drawn none. With the majority on this thread so far choosing the defeated instead of the undefeated option. If your going to wear the famous Ram on yourself or the famous Ram on your skin, wear it with pride! JustOneBiblicalKazim
I think no matter how we start the season we owe it to Cocu to be patient, he could very easily have walked at several points since he joined.

Fully agree. Not going to happen though is it? Doesn't matter how many forwards are injured, many folks will still expect us to win every game in style. Style can come a little later.
Derby blood
Keeping the faith, if no new players turn up, we still have enough to beat Reading, seen Lawrence training, no Rooney or Waghorn yet. Looking forward to a Derby 2-0 victory, the keeper and defence will be a solid base to build from, so come on all u negative fans, let's get behind Cocu and the Boys, and drive them onto victory. Lawrence doing some light running, not team sessions. Cocu said he'd be out longer than expected, even mentioned "weeks".

I’m just a realist - as it stands with 48 hours to go we have limited options in attack and little in the way of creativity from midfield. The way we play under Cocu is easy to play against and Reading are a decent side so I stand by my prediction.

Only thing that gives me cause for pause, is Reading seem to be a bit of a basket case on the face of it, despite having some decent players. Having appointed Veljko Paunović, who's only ever managed in the MLS, to replace Bowen on the 29th August. They wanted to keep Bowen, but he left a few days later refusing to comment in case he got in trouble!
