I expect it will be the 3-5-2 again, unless we have sufficient fit wingers

                        Marshall

               MTW Evans Clarke

Buchanan Bird Holmes Knight Forsyth

                    Sibley Marriott

Not sure if Holmes is fit?

I doubt Waghorn, Rooney or Lawrence will start but maybe an appearance from the bench

If no Holmes, maybe Sibley drops in and someone else up front

Maybe not Buchanan at right wing back but I dont think Wisdom is fit enough to start

Theres a case for reward Roos with a start

Our injury/not fit list is looooong at the minute

If we started 352, we're losing this 2-0 with maybe 1 shot on target.

I'm not advocating it, just suggesting what I think will happen

We don't have the wingers to play 4-3-3

I can see us being 0-0 in 60/70th minute and then Waghorn and Lawrence are introduced with a shape change

From Cocu's comments, I don't think Lawrence will be back.

If we sign Jozwiak tomorrow and he trains Thursday and Friday I would start him because we are woefully short on the wings and he looks on form and a player who will run at people. Knight and Whittaker most of the time turn round and play a square ball or backwards pass and Sibley doesn't look on it so if we sign any winger before Thursday I would play it them.

He's clearly match fit, having played 5 games already this season - including Internationals. Would be no reason to not throw them in.

With all of this transfer talk and EFL shenanigans, I forgot there was a game of football.

Assuming Wisdom, Rooney, Lawrence, Waghorn and Holmes are all injured and that we don't actually sign anyone, I'd go with what's left...

                    Marshall

TeWierik.  Evans.   Clarke.  Buchanan

                   Bird.     Shinnie

            Knight.  Sibley.  Whittaker

                         Marriott

Wow. Time for those front four to show they won't be bullied off the ball. COYR ?

I'm extremely positive we lose this game, possibly quite comfortably. We're hobbling into the game, with god knows who available to play. I would say a worst case scenario: Lawrence, Rooney and Waghorn all unavailable. Wisdom unable to play a full game, possibly Holmes too. I would say that no new signings will be starting, regardless, now.

I'll go same team as above:

Quote

                   Marshall

TeWierik.  Evans.   Clarke.  Buchanan

                   Bird.     Shinnie

            Knight.  Sibley.  Whittaker

                         Marriott

As for the bench, who do we even have? Wisdom and Holmes could be good for a spot on the bench. I'd imagine we could see Shonibare back on the bench. It's going to be a tough game.

Wisdom (if fit enough) Te Wierik, Clarke, Buchanan

Bird, Rooney/Shinnie (if Rooney isn't fit)

        Whittaker,        Sibley,         Knight/Holmes(if fit)

                             Marriott

I think Whittaker had a good game vs Barrow and earned his starting spot vs Reading. 4-2-3-1 should give us more attacking support than 3-5-2 has managed to.
