If How they Broke Britain made you angry don't read "Silent Coup - How Corporations Overthrew Democracy" by Matt Kennard and Claire Provost, it'll push you over the edge!

Enjoyed The Satsuma Complex, if you like Mortimer then you should like the book.

That sounds really depressing. The more you know the worse it gets. Democracy is an illusion and big business controls everything.

On the other hand, have you read Bob’s autobiography. It’s great.

In other words that we have scored more and conceded fewer than would normally be due for our play (the opposite of last year). You call that skill, I call it sampling variability.

I remember when Phil Gee and Trevor Christie scored against Rotherham. My celebrations were tempered by the sampling variability of that season up to that point so it took the edge off somewhat. Same after Robbie Van Der Laan scored against Palace; it really ruined all the beers afterwards.

Maybe, and this is just me, you need to lighten up and enjoy the ride of a promotion race otherwise perhaps football is not for you.

Absolutely no problems here using my NatWest credit card. Easy peasy

Not working for me. Could you pm me your bank details, CCV number (or whatever it is), mother’s maiden name and name of your first pet so I can check to see if it’s a problem with my browser. I would find that very helpful. Thanks in advance Tamworth.

  4. We won the game .Woke up happy then back to looking over fixtures and the table. This is what it is all about.

Yesterday was probably a dreadful game of football but it didn’t matter; the result was everything and it was a great result made better by other bizarre results elsewhere.

I thought Nelson was magnificent at the back. Wilson was excellent too. Cashin, Smith, Thompson and Eboooooooo also good. We rode our luck though but it doesn’t matter. I thought Collins made a big difference when he came on, holding the ball up and winning free kicks.Washington was ineffective. I don’t particularly rate him when he’s fit, let alone recovering from injury. I also prefer NML out wide.

On to the next one. Still plenty of nervous times ahead I think. Wouldn’t it be nice though.

Net chances per game against the league's average opponent on neutral ground. By xG, demonstrably the best metric to evaluate past performance in the public domain once you haven't followed a team's games.

Ignore the result mate, Wilson heading it in is just one moment of the performance, it doesn't "cancel" the remaining 95'.

This is simply not true, he was nowhere near it.

    Ignore the result?

Call me old fashioned but the actual result of a football match seems quite significant to me, especially when it comes to points and league tables and the like.
