For a player that doesn't want to be in L1 Bielik seems to end up there quite a lot.

Agent Rooney doing some excellent work. Well done sir.

I know we aren't in the "throwing money about" days any more, but with this one just pay 'em. 500k for a midfielder that just helped us get promoted and immediately became indispensable to the team is a no brainer.

Comfortably safe with an improvement in the quality of the football - too much to ask or realistic?
Anything less and I reckon Warne will be under massive pressure. The caveat to that is how much Clowes gives him to spend. If Clowes perceives his investment this summer to be substantial I don't think he is going to tolerate the risk of us going back down to L1.

It was amazing!!! Anyone calling the pitch invasion 'tinpot' can in my view get in the bin. I've never known an atmosphere like it at Pride Park as all 4 stands really got involved and revelled in the moment. Our flag game was very strong and it was quite a spectacle. I just hope we continue to keep up this level of support next season. COYR
Anyone calling it tinpot is clueless to what this club has actually been through in the last couple of years. Push their club to the brink of extinction, stick them in L1 for two seasons and see how they react when they get out of it.

It was nice being a big fish in a small pond for a bit, but lets be honest League One is absolutely honking and the idea that Derby should have been happy to take it slow and rebuild down there was nonsense. I am delighted that we got out relatively quickly given the circumstances that saw us down there, let's never go back again.

Is there a Warne-confessional thread where the more vitriolic anti-Warne posters can bare their souls, recant their heretic views and thereby claim absolution and become a true believer with immunity from any 'I told you so' comments?
Then we can all walk hand-in-hand into a better world, where grounds are like small cities, where the players have names you have heard of and it doesn't feel like a really weird coincidence if you happen to know someone who supports the opposition?
No because valid concerns remain about how he can take the style of football we've been subjected to since he arrived further up the pyramid.
As delighted as I will be if we go up,ets be honest that should be the minimum expectation for us in this division and he's done nothing to convince me he's suddenly got a plan or system in the works that will compete at a higher level.
We've been clinging on in games against the likes of Cambridge and Wycombe. Better teams won't allow that to happen.
Again, I'll be delighted if he proves me wrong because I like everything else about him and I hope he does.

I wonder if there are any rules to prevent Posh putting out their second string, even U18.
At this point we shouldn't be bothered. We've got one game left, at home, against comfortably the worst team in the league. If we are relying on other teams to drop points in this scenario we don't deserve to finish in the top two.

I think we need posh to get a win by enough goals in midweek to keep their hopes of autos alive going into the bolton game ?
We could do with Posh being in with a chance on the last day to make sure they give Bolton a proper game and don't rest a load of players and get battered.

If we can't beat Carlisle at home then we don't deserve to go up anyway to be blunt.
