  1. How many will be sober enough to actually see the match? 😂

It's a pity we can't get a few more building the atmosphere inside the ground, rather than in local hostelries. I take it some people only know how to support the team when they are half cut?

It's possible that B4 isn't much known beyond the forum and those fans sat around him - that might explain things?

No, I think Mark was only nominated by his daughter. It seems to be just what Fanhub fancied. One young man, one woman, one carer. Someone for every demographic!

I'd say Adam is best known, I often spot him at away matches, up with the singers and "limbs" people. Sarah I've never even heard of/met.  Mark is usually down at the front with his daughter - or sometimes stuck in another stand altogether or even with the home fans.  Our disabled supporters have some crap treatment, especially at League One level.

I've voted for Mark. He's very dry! Don't know if he posts on here?

After 45 games it all comes down to this. Us or Bolton? The Rams the red hot favourites, with the best defence in the division playing the team bottom and long-since relegated. And needing only a draw. You can see why the bookies have us 1000/1 on but as a Derby fan I'm still nervous and feel it's going to be a long week.

Thrilled to be there. Will be thinking of Daniel who I never met, but who I exchanged posts with on this forum, and whose calls to arms I always loved. Will be remembering being at the BBG 49 years earlier to see the Rams lift the First Division title against Carlisle. Am with some of the same friends who came to the Derby Crystal Palace game with me, and we recreated Robbie van der Laan's header with on the pitch afterwards. Will be remembering the time Stephen Pearson scored his goal to send us into delirium at Wembley.

Will be thanking David Clowes for saving our club when all seemed lost. Darkest before the dawn. He deserves a fantastic day in which, yet again, and for only the third time in our history, Derby lift themselves out of the third tier after a two-season stint. But we have to do it first. Let's hope the players keep their eyes on the prize, backed all the way by long-suffering fans who do deserve some joy after the last few years.

    Come on you Rams!

B4 would be proud of you!

Would love B4 to win it, but Twitter is calling for Clowes (or DCFC Lee). Any of the three would be worthy winners.

    Who is DCFC Lee?

I personally don't think Clowes should win it. Just not appropriate,  this award is about ordinary fans.

Clowes deserves all the accolades for what he did (last season, actually) bit in a different arena to this one.

The presence of this group has completely passed me by. Probably because I see less Derby-related tweets now Twitter has gone down the TikTok route of showing you what the algorithm thinks you'll like, rather than posts from people you follow.

Are any "Twitter famous" Derby fans involved?

I've no idea, saw the ones waving flags yesterday and didn't recognise any of them. Believe they are all South Standers, though, and hang out in The White Horse with Joey Greener pre-match.

They are fairly organised, have a website and all.

I think they're doing a great job so far.

  6. 1Wildsmith 6 - great saves but erratic kicking, not helped by a forward standing on him and an erratic wind

    35Nelson  7.5 - unflappable

5Bradley 7.5 - his sort of game - headed it, kicked it

6Cashin 8 - puts his body on the line time and again

2Wilson 7 - needed to be a bit more confident in attack; works hard

    7Barkhuizen 6 - didn't notice him at all, sorry!

12Smith 5 in midfield, where he was a bit anonymous, but 7 at wing-back so an average of 6

    32Adams 6.5 - first game he's looked a bit rattled

17Sibley 8 - looked a threat every time he went forward, still put in a defensive shift

16Thompson 6.5 - worked really hard, struggled with some of the head-tennis!

8Bird 🦅  6 - looked classy on the ball, but a bit too far off the frenetic pace to make a decent contribution

9Collins 7 - worked hard defensively but we need you in the box, James!

11Méndez-Laing 8 - put in a  great shift, as demonstrated by the fantastic tackle in Cambridge's first attack. Worked his way up to his goal, well-deserved.

10 Waghorn 6 tried hard, but off the pace.

So what was weird today, I went to back row, directly behind goal (my actual seat was back row, 20 seats along but didn’t try to use it), and the two seats next to me remained empty. It also felt like around us there were a few empty seats as well.

So the mad rush I was expecting pre kick off due to in allocated seating didn’t materialise. It almost felt as if that stand could sit 1800/2000 but they only sell less.

    Really strange, but wasn’t unhappy!

That's right, they sell less than capacity, let folks sit where they want, then herd the latecomers into the two end blocks of the stands.

So infuriating for @DarkFruitsRam7and others stood outside.

Ironically, the seat spaces are quite generous compared to some grounds we've been to this season.
