Anyone know if Gayle is still Injured?
He said he was, on Tuesday night.
Could be fibbing, though!

Love it, thanks for posting.
I saw Colin going into the ground last Saturday, was aware he's been around a bit more this season but didn't realise he was living in Derby again.
That's going to be handy next season for the 74-75 celebrations. 🍾

Not the greatest selection this year.
It was noticeable that there were no goals from outside the box. 3 from the edge, but no 25/30 yarders.
Didn't Bird score a good one from a free kick touched to one side? I wonder why it wasn't included.
Because they only chose goals of the month. That one obviously didn't win that month. Could be the second-best goal of the season, but if it didn't win the monthly prize it isn't in there.

Anyway, I think there's going to be a pitch invasion, then the stadium announcer will tell them to get back behind the boards so the players can come out, that's going to take 30 minutes or so, then we'll have the lap of honour.
I'm waiting, it's not even as if folks will be missingtheir tea with the early kickoff.

That bold bit is where the problem lies, imo.
I envisage the majority of the attendance (22k+) will scuttle off home having not had the chance to thank/congratulate/celebrate with the people that matter... players and staff.Shame really... but utterly not unexpected.
Those that scuttle off home would be doing it anyway, regardless. Miserable barstewards, the lot of 'em!

Cheering on the Rams from pitchside.
I can't believe you let a birthday get in the way of our most exciting close to a season in years. B4 would be ashamed of you! 😂
Happy birthday for tomorrow. 🎉

They havnt got my email address.
You haven't got a fan ID then or they will have an email address for you. The system cannot work without one.
Does it go to a relative?
I can't believe you aren't able to create an email identity if you're tech savvy enough to register on here with all David's hoops and whistles! 😂

Yes that is correct - last bit pronounced kwhy as in "bridge over the river kwai"
We have stayed at the hotel on that junction before. Handy for the Park and Ride into Cambridge.
Today we are parked on someone's drive near the ground, just hope we can get there!

The design of the elevated away stand at Cambridge means it will be difficult to invade the pitch as access is via steps down.
It will be much easier to steward these points than across the width of a pitch level fronted stand like ours.

Why do they feel the need to shout at us?
Of note - all parties "accepted" - doesn't mean they agreed!
Also , where is the player welfare in flying out to Australia at the end of a busy season to play football while jetlagged? f****** nonsense!

There's nothing at all on the website about sending out postal packs.
It says current season ticket holders will be contacted by email. Every fan ID has to have a current email address.
So why do people think they're going to get a postal pack?
Genuine question.

Cambridge have another home game to play the following Tuesday, which could be critical to their survival. I doubt that they'd be happy with a pitch invasion by our fans and the risk of damage to the pitch or anything else. I don't doubt that it would lead to anything less than an inquiry by the FA/EFL and God knows what punishment.
Everyone understands that fans want to enjoy the euphoria of the moment, but I wouldn't want to give them any excuse to stick the boot into us again.
I think that pitch invasions should only be done at home, and only after the last game of the season.
It's interesting Cambridge has another home match on Tuesday - I've just read they are doing their Player of the Season on the pitch after tomorrow's game.
So that's another reason for us keeping off the pitch, tbf. We wouldn't want our award being spoiled in this way.

Bayer Leverkusen fans this week after winning the Bundesliga.
I sometimes think we've lost our spirit of football fun in this country.
I won't be on the pitch at Cambridge or Pride Park whatever the results, due to old age, but I will applaud those who want to celebrate.
As for injured footballers, they know the score and the tradition, run like hell for the tunnel!

Several lower league clubs have issued statements protesting this change.
The BBC has their article about it 24th down on their sports pages, below such riveting headlines as "Moyes issues frosty response at Press conference" and Liverpool players "under pressure" due to Klopp's departure.
Doesn't even feature on their main menu. Says it all, really.
We are irrelevant to the powers that be.

My only comment about the comparisons with the Reading match was at the time we were on a downward spiral with a defence that leaked goals for fun. Neither are the case this time.
Good point. No plan B!
Whereas Warne has a Plan A, B and C. We sometimes see all three in the same match. 😂
Just an aside, Warne wasn't at the Supporters Club event last night because he'd gone to watch Cambridge at Bristol Rovers. Even at this late stage of the season, he's leaving no stone unturned in his quest to get us up. He works as hard as he expects from the players.
