  1. Probably been told he isn't the preferred bidder.

Personally didn't like him blabbing away on twitter through the whole process before he actually bought the club as if this happened (always inevitable) then he'll look a bit daft.

Also don't really like the petulance on show from him today either. To come out on twitter in the way he has isn't exactly what I'd want to see.

One thing though, clearly the fact he's been showed round the place by Rooney's agent, can obviously see why Rooney wanted him to get the club.

Lots of people assuming Rooney will end up going now CK won't be the owner.

To be quite honest. Whilst I absolutely think how Rooney has held himself and acted through all of this deserves a huge amount of credit and also a fair crack at bringing us back up. I also wouldn't be massively disappointed if he did leave and we just started from scratch.

  2. Rooney coming out after saying "That first half is not the identity of my team"

Well 5 wins in the last 36 games would suggest otherwise.

They do this time and time again.

We beat Bournemouth, which was a great result, good point at Fulham. Then we are woeful against QPR and even worse today.

Team selection was bizarre. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Sibley has been great in the odd games he's playing. But in our position what good is it him playing in the U23s instead of being in the squad? I can't fathom that.

I can't understand playing players out of position when we don't need to.

The midfield 3 of Shinnie, Bird and Thompson. Jesus Christ.

Shinnie will get stuck in, not much quality, Bird is nice and tidy but doesn't create anything and Thompson is a good prospect. But in terms of creativity and drive. We need something else. Why are we playing so defensive minded when the shackles are off? Why not one holding midfielder? With Knight and Sibley advanced?

And I don't understand how we are supposed to be taking the shackles off, because "Getting a point is no good to us now" only to see us to go a team who aren't very good, who's home form must be one of the worst in the league and having ONE shot on target?

Honestly I just want this season over and done with now. I'd end it now if I could. Just let us sit at the bottom, don't need to play anymore games. Just sit and wait till the end of the season.

  3. Can't defend Rooney here.

Completely unnecessarily playing players out of position. I wouldn't mind if there weren't other options.

But we're playing Knight who's a midfielder on the wing, Ebosele who's a right back on the other wing and Lawrence who's a number 10 as a striker.

We've got a right winger and a proper centre forward on the bench.

Playing pretty much 3 holding midfielders.

We've got Morrison who's not done one single creative thing all season on the bench and Sibley playing with the kids last night.

    Makes no sense.

  4. Marshall

    Byrne Jagielka Davies Williams

          Shinnie Bird Thompson

    Ebosele.  Lawrence. Knight

I'm well aware Marshall won't play but I physically cannot take much more of Kelle Roos.

Forsyth. Not going to be too critical. Great servant, given us everything. I just think his legs have gone. Struggles massively. Nothing to lose with giving Williams a run.

  5. Roos 6 - Couldn't do anything about either goal. Kicking very suspect. Came out on an adventure in the second half for a ball he was never gone get.

Byrne 6 - Thought he was steady again. Nothing special.

Jagielka 7 - Pick of the back 4 for me. Didn't really put a foot wrong.

Davies 6 - Could have done better for the first goal? Should have probably got tighter but other than that, didn't really do much wrong.

Forsyth 3 - God love him. Great servant and if we weren't in such a mess he probably wouldn't be here. But tonight was evident of how much is legs have gone. With what Rooney asks of his full backs, I'm struggling to see how Forsyth can play in this team.

Shinnie 6 - Great ball for the goal. But running all the way back to get back with Willock only to get in the box and completely forget to mark him was ridiculous.

Bird 6 - Decent. Nothing bad, nothing amazing.

Thompson 7 - Best player for me. Worked hard, good on the ball. Can see he's got a brain on him.

Knight 6 - Never stops, worked so hard. Just hasn't really got much going on around him.

Morrison 1 - I don't really know why I'm giving him 1. Offers absolutely nothing. Only had one thing to do. A fairly simple pass to Lawrence in the first half and he fluffed that. Tantrum when he got taken off too. Which was bizarre cos he was absolute pony.

Lawrence 6 - Took his goal well. Should have had a touch rather than shoot first time on another chance. Starting to have a bit of consistency about him for the first time since he's been here. Probably just a coincidence he's in the shop window at the same time.

Jozwiak - Same old Jozwiak. Didn't really do a lot.

Ebosele - One good bit of play when he got out of that tight space but then a big first touch let him down. I like him, he's a good prospect. But he needs to realise it's not always possible to do it on your own.

CKR - Don't think he touched the ball.

Don’t be so ridiculous. QPR were the better team, and I can’t begrudge them the victory, but to say we didn’t deserve anything is totally unfair on a significant number of our team who gave their everything again tonight. We lack a couple of forwards. It must be so tough to compete against a 21 point deficit with no proven goalscorer in your team, but boy they do keep on fighting. Unlucky to be beaten in the last minute by a supreme bit of skill. Get over yourself.

Does Rooney need to get over himself too?

What? So because a few lads played well they as aren't allowed to deserve to lose a game?

Never once said we didn't give anything.

You can't judge every game now on "well it must be so tough to compete with a 21 point defecit" cos on that we won't deserve to lose any game will we.

Forget all that. Yes we worked hard. Yes we did ok.

But did we deserve anything from that? No. No we didn't.

  8. I like Rooney's comments before this. Knows we need to win games, going places and trying to nick a point is no good to us now.

If we had drew with Bournemouth and got a point tonight everyone would say how good the results were.

But it would only have yielded 2 points.

We've already got more points from these games than I thought we would. So tonight is a bonus. Complete free hit.

Can't see us getting anything tonight.

    I'll go Fulham 3-1 Derby.

Then onto QPR on Monday and we'll beat them.

Really bad  from Roos but beyond stupid to play the ball into the centre of the goal like that we don’t deserve anything doing that and if that’s an instruction from the coaches then crazy

Yes the goal kicks are stupid. I don't understand them.

Lots of other clubs do it.

That one would have been fine of Roos didn't have the touch of a baby elephant.

  10. There's only one person to blame for all of this, one..

He's lied to us, conned us and left us high and dry.

The EFL are applying rules that are in place for every single club.

We've lost more than we should.

Morris tried to flount the rules, failed and left us.

Putting us in administration was the final nail.

But if you wanna sing F the EFL for applying punishments to us for breaking rules that we knew were there and knew what the punishment would be then go ahead.
