Id imagine it would be an absolute minimum of 6ft under (appropriate!)... but more likely 3 or 4 meters... and anywhere within a 10 metre radius. There'll be a lot o' layers beneath that glorious turf, that only the pitch installers would have got anywhere near, I'd have thought! 🤷♂️ Edited April 13, 2023 by Mucker1884
Vimto Enjoyer
Don’t know if I’m adding anything of value to the discourse here, but I genuinely hate Pride Park. A cut and paste Stadium™ situated miles away from anything else of cultural or social value, devoid of any character and lacking any real atmosphere (90% of the time). Flatten it and turn it into a car park. Rebuild the BBG! Tamworthram and PrideParkhead 1

Less chance of finding a penalty spot than during that Man City match. Absolute bog and god knows how many chemical preventing barriers. I do agree that the designer of the stadium seemed to be having a lack of inspiration day when he drew the plans up, pretty formulaic effort. I’m talking about being in and around communities where people live and socialise, near pubs and other notable landmarks that characterise an area and therefore the football club that belongs within it. Couple in there and then another 5 minute hike to the Telegraph for another one or two and then on to the Neppy. Cultural and social excellence. After the Neppy on to the Viceroy for a curry and then a small wander back to the hotel. David Graham Brown and Kathcairns 1
