So according to that video and his interview, he's not pacy and not about tricks and flicks, but he's 'the wriggler' using his body to squirm through the gaps.

Intriguing.

Let's hope we can get a great song out of that too.

Allow me...

We've got Tony Springett,
He always likes to Wing it.
His nickname's "Little Wriggler",
... Makes NML a giggler!

Might need a bit of work, and absolutely no idea what the tune is at this stage, but hey, at least I got a penis based reference in there, so that gives us something to hold on to, and have a fiddle with.

Oh... erm... actually... can I rephrase that last b

Spring-ett, Spring-ett Real Good

We would coordination from 3 stands

South Stand singing 'Spring it Real Good'

East Stand going da da da da  ..da da da da da

West Stand making sexualised heavy breathing noises whilst gyrating their hips

Should be easy to get going

Good grief!

This is gonna make Steve Bloomer's Watching sound like a masterpiece of choral perfection!  ?

Can't you see that Springett crossing hard like I wish you would Barkhuizen.

Thought he made a difference last night, even after giving away a proper baffling free kick where he did literally nothing but the ref saw something.

Played a key role in the winner by working hard to keep the ball in play when it would have been much easier to let in roll out. About 3 seconds later the ball was in their net.

"We wouldn't have won without you" is what I can picture Warne saying to Tony, it was a great effort to keep it in and exactly what Warne will want to see. Let's hope this praise absolutely fills the lad with the confidence to play to his full ability (whatever that may be).

He looks to have come in with a great attitude. It'll be interesting to see what he can do with spell on the pitch. He made the winning goal possible last night.

Completely agree. He said at his first interview he'd give 100% and he did - a lot of players would have given that ball up.

Fine margins. A lot of players would have let it go. ..that’s why it deserves the song.

You are definitely right, but unfortunately I now have that Moloko song in my head (and I didn't even click the link)
