Everything wrong with football and a bunch of entitled bell ends to boot. Bar one lone voice besides anything else do you really think playing a full strength side in the midweek tinpot is going to achieve anything of consequence?!? Winning it would do little for improving our situation, be better off going all out for fourth and failing than going all out for that, embarrassing ourselves in the process (merely by conceding fourth in such a fashion) I agree, too many injuries to risk too many first teamers. As with any competition, bar top 4 league finishing, if you don't winnit doesn't matter if you go out first round or lose the final also is the best opportunity, domestic tinpots, to give youth a run out. too many games in Europe these days Put your white flag away, top 4 is our target and very much achievable This year we should put all cups beside, we have too small team. Play Youngsters It's not just a poor start. It's a poor season. 4th is gone. Throwing away winnable competitions is absurd, as is referring to the cup we won last season as "tinpot". Competing for 4 titles last year was why for the second time we lost the league to City by 1 point. Sod the League cup, we could be bragging 3 Premiership titles now except for those two 1 point misses. Our chances in the Champions League this season are slim, probably get knocked out in first knock out stage by Real. Lets concentrate on getting top 4 and the F.A. cup.
