Not the words I recall.  There was much more of a hooligan beat to it back then!  A lot of "Taking of ends", if I recall!   ?

Those were the days my friend

we took the Stretford End

we took the Kop and North Bank, Highbury...

we'd do what we choose,

we'd fight and never lose,

We are the Rams

and we kill forest fans......

*other versions were available depending on how much Double Diamond or Watneys Red Barrel had been consumed.

Now that's more like it. They're playing it before the game today aren't they.

Are they? That’s good I really hope so. 1st time I heard it today, could be our anthem (even when we’re in the National league North ?

STAND BY ME - BEN E. KING

DARLING swapped to Derby.

All other lyrics remain the same:

When the night, has come
And the land is dark
And the moon, is the only, light we'll see

No I won't, be afraid
No I won't, be afraid
Just as long, as you stand, stand by me

So Derby, Derby stand, by me
Oh-oh stand by me
Oh stand, stand by me, stand by me

If the sky, that we look upon, should tumble and fall
Or the mountains, should crumble, to the sea
I won't cry, I won't cry, no-no-no I won't shed a tear
Just as long, as you stand, by me

And Derby, Derby stand, by me
Oh-oh-oh, stand, by me
Oh darling, stand by me, stand by me, stand by me

Whoa-oh-oh, ay-ay
Ma-ma-my, my-ee

If the mountains should crumble to the sea

Ma-ma-my-my-my

When the night, has come
And, and the land is dark
And the moon, is the only, only light we'll see

So Derby, Derby stand, by me, oh-oh stand by me
Oh Derby, stand by me, stand by me
Whenever you're in trouble won't you stand, by me
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, stand by me, stand by me, stand by me

So Derby, Derby stand, oh-oh, oo-oo, oh-oh
As long as I know I got you right here
Right here by my side
Come on, come on, stand, stand right here

This or just one love Bob Marley as at the end of the day this relates to how the club is at the minute and I would never support any other team no matter what happens I Derby and I'm Sure every Derby fan is the same can't think of a song more suitable

They played it at the ground today.

They did but not many will have noticed unless they listened very carefully. It was played too early (barely anyone in the ground at that time) and they should have showed the video with the words.

Missed opportunity. Let’s hope it becomes a regular thing but at the right time etc.

Didn't they play it again at half time?
