So, either the ref gives the penalty or he gives Buchanan a second yellow. How can it possibly be a drop ball lmao

He changed his mind. The first defender tackled cleanly then the second player caught him him.

He was blowing for a decision then realised he didn't have one to make.

Not ideal but at least he didn't try to protect his ego by giving something wrong.

Still poor officiating to not wait to blow his whistle.

Whittaker taken off although he’s been used a sub - thing is, yes it harsh but he’s now in the first team and it’s time to get real if your put on the pitch ahead of more experienced pros and don’t do it then you run the risk. Wayne wanted him to get wide as mentioned by Eric Steel but he kept cutting in

While it will be a hit to Morgan’s confidence, that sub is the right call. He just hasn’t got going today, whereas Colin and Joz may well offer us more on the pitch in the rest of the game

Oh I hate it, absolutely hate it. That's how you ruin players if you aren't careful.

Is this a wind up? Wayne’s mistake was bringing him on early instead of one of the more experiences pros.

No? You put on a young player for a small amount of time in which he has to get up to speed with players already on the pitch, and then you drag him off 20 minutes later. It's poo management and it's going to trash his confidence.
