It’s all very well getting to the byeline but if you can’t pick out the right pass at the right time you may as well twit it at goal as soon as you get it like Lawrence does. Maybe sometimes throwing them in the deep end will just work, other times it's possible they'll take time and a patient manager, if Rooney isn't going to be patient then he shouldn't be using Whittaker.
