@BurtonRam7  This is nearly as tense as the pens. Paddy Power haven't decided if Mount had 2 shots on target yet. Defo one for the goal. Maybe that cross from that short corner free kick in first half?

How are they defining a shot on target? Does a blocked shot count? Because there were at least two of them, and then the saved shot for the goal.

On the train back to Leeds from Manchester surrounded by unhappy Mancs.

Everyone of them a hero. A night to live long in the memory. And the rams fans lucky enough to be there, well done all

Unhappy Mancs..... everyone of them a hero ??

Mourinho in his interview was basically resigned to the fact as soon as Jones and Bailey were going to take penalties, it was over.

Yet our centre half steps up and blasts one in with true confidence.

Up yours, you sour faced plank! ?

Seriously what is your problem?

He's a complete see you next Tuesday, that's his problem.

Literally the only member on here who surfaces only to cause grief with no good reason, and can no more debate with you than he can reason with the voices in his head.

Ignore.

Wonderful energetic, creative and confident performance by the Rams tonight.  Thoroughly deserved their win, should have got in the 90 minutes actually.  The opposition. whoever they are, looked to be a poor side though. Tougher challenges lie ahead.

Great to see how many times Marriott and Wilson mentioned confidence and belief in their own ability in the post match interview. That's obviously something FL is giving this bunch of players and it's starting to show now.  The opposing manager tonight (his name escapes me) could learn a thing or two from Frank.

You could just hear the pitchforks getting ready as soon as Keogh stepped up to take his penalty. Thank goodness he scored, he’s been through so much here that the fan reaction had he missed probably would have broken him.

I don't think so tonight. Maybe folk feared he would miss but I'd wager even his greatest critics would have been willing him to score tonight and not hoping they'd get a chance to 'pitchfork' him. It was a great pen too!

I've just arrived back home. Sat in bed just remembering that Wilson free kick.

What a strike. He completely fooled Argentina's number one goalkeeper. Absolutely rooted him to the spot.

Up there with Beckham's FK against Greece and Ronaldo's against Portsmouth. World class.

I thought that too. They both opened by saying “we know we’re a good team” which could have been considered bordering on cocky, but perhaps it’s just a case of self belief and confidence being instilled by the manager which you need in order to believe you can succeed... probably even something he picked up from his opposite number tonight when playing under him at Chelsea.
