Just got back in, first of all we created enough chances to win, Collins should have buried his chance at the end.
I stayed behind to support my team, and some of u should hold your heads in shame shouting abuse, not called for, then a women a few rows in front of me told a few to stop disrespecting Derby some youth turned round told her where to go, she started to go towards him telling him why bother to come, I tell you what the mouthy youth s*** himself lol, but seriously why fall out, we should all get behind our team, and not have a go at each other all the time.
I have missed out on a Strewsbury ticket, if all of u moaners hate it that much PLEASE can I have your ticket for Strewsbury away.

The evidence is there for all his critics to see.
Fornah, Nyambe, Nelson...are all physically strong, powerful athletes.  Decent age and experience. They look great.
Bradley is big unit who is growing in confidence again and Washington is a little dynamo who will come good. The wing backs look decent too.
It's what is particularly annoying about certain posters - that after 2 or 3 games they were slating the new players and the manager, yet they don't like it when someone criticises their ludicrous impatience.

I think there are people on here who are unhappy in life. They rely heavily on Derby to provide their happiness.
Therefore when they fail to do so, every bit of their unhappiness is directed at players/ management/ anyone who disagrees.

Iniestagram reacted to YorkshireRam in Embleton needs surgery and has returned to Sunderland
This thread is getting silly. Injuries are part and parcel of football. If you really want to try and prove that Warne is injuring players then have a look at the correlation between the type of injuries and whether an overly-physical training regime could cause them. Embleton getting a freak injury taking a corner does not fit into this category though. Without insight into the training program either, it's just conjecture.
There's plenty of things you can evidence right now if you want to criticise Warne, please focus on these rather than trying to speculate on this. Warne knows we have a thin squad, I'd imagine he's trying to protect them right now, rather than the opposite. Bad luck does exist, it's not always someone's fault...

So you’d like him to start, get injured because he hasn’t yet got the minutes in his legs rather than impact the game as a sub? Then you’d be moaning Warne drives them too hard and they get injured. He can’t win, you think you win every comment you make!

Iniestagram reacted to ram59 in Will Lady Luck Ever Shine On Derby Again?
There are a number of things that you need to have success, lady luck being an important one. Over the last 10 years, we've had more than our share of bad luck.
It seemed to start with that play off final, the most one sided final that was won by the 'wrong' team. Then we made our key signing in Thorne, who was forever injured, who knows what could have been with a fit George. This was to be repeated with Bielik, again another key player who could have made a difference. We then lost 3 managers due to 'interest' from other teams, SM, who's head was turned by Newcastle, Rowett poached by Stoke and the drawn out saga with Frank going to Chelsea. None of them went on to succeed at any of those clubs, as we could have told them before hand.
Constant new managers required constant changes to playing personnel and MM was only too happy to fork out the club's money, to back them, in doing so, trying to be clever with EFL rules. Then on top of this, we had Covid, an unforeseeable occurrence which it could be argued affected Derby more than any other club, having the biggest gates outside the premier league and parachute teams.
To compound these problems, MM decided to pull the plug, instead of following through with his promises, no administration would be no 12 points deduction, in fact he should have stuck to his guns and challenged the other 9 points in court. Without these deductions we should still be in the championship and not lost a generation of young talent that our academy had nurtured. It's a crying shame when you thing of all those young players that we lost for nothing or next to nothing. Other 'bad' owners have not let this happen to a big club, they've either continued to back the club until they could get shot of it, without pulling the plug. It doesn't help that the EFL seem to be more vindictive against us when compared with other clubs' misdemeanours.
We are at the start of a new era, but have been dogged by poor refereeing decisions over the last 14 months and now we have suffered 5 long term injuries to our small squad, only 6 games into the season.
It's about time we got some good fortune, even average fortune would do.
I'm trying my best, I'm already on my third 'lucky' shirt for home games and my second for away matches.🙄

It's not a trait we like in other fans and so perhaps some introspection would in fact be in order.

Just shedding his wage frees up £1.5m for next season. It puts an end to a sorry stint at Derby for Bielik, who through no fault of his own played a fairly detrimental impact in our downfall. A good player, but huge injuries, a massive fee and one of the biggest contracts this club has ever handed out that wasn’t subsidised by a betting company.
Wish him well at Birmingham, but it would be good to pass them on the way up. I do hope that he stays injury free - he’s had a torrid time in that regard,

Sorry if not exactly the right place, but why are some of the opinion that winning the league is “no hard task”? League 1 is a tough league and if we start showing up expecting to have won the match before a ball is kicked it will show us up.
It’s professional football, yes we’re used to being the league above and pushing for the top flight, but we don’t have a squad of that calibre currently, nor is the club in a position it once was to attract players of a certain quality.

Shouldn’t these expectations be tempered with a little bit of realism of where DCFC is now?

    1) Having a team to watch once more. The strange combination of the feelings of high expectations and trepidation of what we were actually going going to see as I climbed up to our seats in the South Stand, which are Row R, right behind the goalposts, which is a long way up for an old guy with tired legs!
    2) Getting to meet with a load of people I thought I would never see again!
    3) The final two minutes at Port Vale were probably the best, maddest, most beautiful, manic and bonkers moments of my life, with a block of about 20 people hugging each other en masse, bouncing around and moving a whole row forwards without falling over the chairs. WOW!!!
    4) The realisation that it simply doesn’t matter what league we are in, because WE ARE DERBY!!!!!

Both this season and next, we can't pay transfer, loan or agent's fees which rather reduces the size of the pond we can fish in and the size of fish we can attract. There is a small possibility that, if we are "good boys" this season, some of the restrictions in the business plan, written by DCFC and approved by the EFL, might be eased (probably not lifted) next season. For instance, a player swap might be on as long as we don't pay any money to the other club involved in the deal. Bielik for one or more players from a Championship or a PL side, for instance, might be on the cards as long as the new players don't want more than the wages cap allows. Might the wages cap be increased, especially if we go up this season? All ifs, buts and maybes, I know but not impossible.

I just want to say how lucky you are to have Paul Warne as manager. I've supported the millers for 69 years. Obviously, I've seen managers come and go during that period. As far as I'm concerned, and many other fans Warne is the best manager we've had.
Like Derby fans we went through some dark times. Administration points deducted, lost our ground, forced to play in Sheffield in an athletic stadium. No atmosphere, 4 years in the 4th division.
Paul has many qualities. Excellent staff management, a workaholic. He's articulate, honest and will live and breathe Derby County.
I thank him for all the memories, 3 Wembley wins 3 promotions and I wish him well and as a consequence wish the Rams well. I've never had a second team, but for the first time Derby County will be my second team. I look forward to seeing Paul succeed.
Hopefully Derby will be promoted and we survive in the championship and look forward to see you at the New York stadium.
    All the best.

I had huge respect for how Rosenior conducted himself, then and even now, but I am really enjoying this breath of fresh air feeling we have with our new manager.

We’ve climbed out of the trenches after a battering, looking a bit dazed. I now have the feeling that here is a guy who wants us to march in the right direction and reclaim something. Looking forward to seeing how we shape up on Saturday with considerable relish (but will be  carrying suitable superstition talismans just in case )

Just catching up and it amazes me how many people jump to conclusions on this.
For all we know Rosenior could have turned down the full time job or asked for excessive wages that hopefully we’ve now learnt to not pay.
Rosenior is doing an ok to poor job in my opinion. We’re ok at home but poor away. I wouldn’t be offering a long contract for him on decent wages to then potentially sack him in a month or two and pay out money we don’t have in compensation.
