Clyde Wijnhard. Met him at an under 21s match many years ago. He had gone along just to watch. Lovely chatty guy about all things, not just football. I’ve always remembered how friendly and down to earth he was.
When I met this seasons Derby team, Ebou Adams and Connor Hourihane really stood as being genuinely nice people. A few of the players came across as only being there because they had to be, but Ebou and Connor seemed to genuinely enjoy being at the awards night.I'd agree with that, Claire - and add Corey Smith and Eiran Cashin to that list.
Mendez-Laing is a bit shy, but it's getting better now he knows us.

Aren't Warne and their manager mates? Easy to predict (but not to get to!)

My closest game. Almost certainly to be a Tuesday night again, just like Exeter was on the two occasions we played them away.
Makes it easier for you to get tickets if it's on a Tuesday.

Johnny has had a quiet start to the season. Often sub or subbed off. Is this his last season before retirement?
Scored last night but SKC lost 3-1.

Steve Powell and his Dad, Tommy, most definitely were, but I guess if a player grew up in and around Derby and never played anywhere, they probably stayed a Derby supporter all their lives.
The nice thing is how many ex-players who weren't Derby fans growing up were sending good luck and congratulatory messages after promotion, and many through our financial troubles too.
Yes, there's a lot more ex-players who retain a soft spot for Derby than childhood fans who go on to play for Derby (or other clubs).

What was the date of the first credible rumour for a player that we signed last summer. Ward and Vickers were the first announced on the 20th June.
No rumour about either of them. The first we knew was the Club announcement.

I think Take That (and others of their ilk) might bring their own speakers!

Cruz Allen scored a clever free kick for Wales U17 v Croatia - Available here https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/cl55d97kl9dt#player at the 31 min mark.
Pleased he scored but the link has finished.

Much prefer a trip to Southampton than Leeds next season but still can't bring myself to cheer Leeds on.

The key to this appointment will be who he takes down there as his coaching team.
I think Rooney did okay in the figurehead part of the role for us, but it's obvious now that Rosenior was the coaching part of the team. A bit similar to Lampard and Jody Morris.
At least Plymouth is a bit more out of the spotlight than us and Birmingham were, give him some time to build.

Thanks angieram obviously a lady with good taste.
You might not say that if you heard some of my other choices but I do like a bit of Dusty!
I vaguely remember her on TOTP and thought as a kid she was a bit different, not your average pop artist.

Of course. Let's ask David Clowes who spent a fortune saving us, to spend more of his cash on a museum 😀
I think David is very keen for this to happen. It's about the logistics.

Sorry but that isn't true, grass roots football is thriving. Everything about it has improved over the past 10 years, the facilities, the format, the coaching, the availability to more getting involved, the girls side of it.
Only thing that I can think off, is the weather, we need more facilities like the new Derby hub as the climate changes. Without investment from the likes of sky, that would never have happened.
Which clubs do you go to, where the facilities have improved? My local teams have rubbish facilities that haven't been updated since the 1960s/70s. I see little evidence of money in Derbyshire and they are now being forced to compete with richer clubs who are full-time. It's a wonder they survive at all.
Maybe clubs in more affluent areas? I don't know.
