We are back in the Championship, where we (apparently) deserve to be. Who did people expect we'd be playing? Belper Town?
I'm looking forward to seeing how we do at a level where we're going to see slightly more football, our younger players with an extra year's experience and hopefully some exciting new signings.
Bring it on!

Netherlands were wide open at the back against Austria and they'll push forward in attack - I think we'd have a good chance of beating them.

Well that strongly suggests that you didn't agree with his team selections 😮
That might well be true!
I railed against wingbacks for a long time....
What do I know? 🤷♀️

Me too, got over 10000 Fanfi tokens.
Got the app to see how many miles we're doing over the season.
It calculates from your home postcode to the ground you check in at, but it's as the crow flies, so less than what you actually do.
Anyway last season it's says we did 6700 miles, that's a scary figure.
Yes, that's the main bit about it that I like.
Checking in at away grounds was a doddle, at Pride Park - a real challenge!
Oh, and I enjoyed predicting the line-up. Was useless to start off with, but once I got into thinking "What would Warne do?" 🤔 I got a lot better.

I signed up at the end of the season to vote for @B4ev6is as fan of the year.
Apparently if I’d signed up before I would have earned a speedboat by now 😂
I've got loads of Fanfi tokens, which I'm never going to spend as all I seem to be able to swap them for are pints of lager - not a cup of tea in sight!

Apparently the Chesterfield FC ticket office has spent most of the day on the phone transferring tickets bought by Derby fans from the South and West stands to the North Stand.
They seem to think we should have done better, but their instructions and links were far from clear.
I say this as one of the smug ones who got it right first time!

There's no wonder the demographic of fans attending particularly away games is changing, with lots of retired people who can change calendars around to fit in the travel to fixtures whenever.
It's much harder for people who work.
Also, surely this has got to affect families, who may be thinking twice about buying season tickets for kids when so many of the matches will be on school nights?

Has anyone bought a ticket for Chesterfield, I have been out all day and have just tried to get a ticket but it’s only showing for the home end.
We got two yesterday morning by following the link on the DCFC website. Took us directly to the North Stand.
I understand that went missing later in the day, not sure why?

I’m more on about dealing with external companies with no person or family connecting the 2.
I'm pretty sure if there's no connection, then companies won't be paying above fair market value anyway.
The rule is there to prevent companies with connections from exploiting the situation.

Clyde Wijnhard. Met him at an under 21s match many years ago. He had gone along just to watch. Lovely chatty guy about all things, not just football. I’ve always remembered how friendly and down to earth he was.
When I met this seasons Derby team, Ebou Adams and Connor Hourihane really stood as being genuinely nice people. A few of the players came across as only being there because they had to be, but Ebou and Connor seemed to genuinely enjoy being at the awards night.I'd agree with that, Claire - and add Corey Smith and Eiran Cashin to that list.
Mendez-Laing is a bit shy, but it's getting better now he knows us.

Aren't Warne and their manager mates? Easy to predict (but not to get to!)
-
All the best, Conor - right move at this point in his career.
Was a good signing for Derby, experienced head supporting the younger players and much respect for him in the dressing room.
Admire that he knew when he needed to look elsewhere- many don’t.

My closest game. Almost certainly to be a Tuesday night again, just like Exeter was on the two occasions we played them away.
Makes it easier for you to get tickets if it's on a Tuesday.

We have a return ticket for the Dockyards experience. Runs out 10 days before we are down there!
