Heisenberg reacted to Big Trav in Summer Rumour Mill
Or I hear stuff and instead of gatekeeping it, I want to share with my fellow rams fans. It’s never going to be 100% correct because things change. But to call me insecure and lonely is just a bit rude to be honest

Sometimes you get told stuff from a reasonable source, but it doesn't materialise. It doesn't mean it's bullpoo.
You can show people round, enter talks, agree wages etc but they still may not sign. Stuff falls through.
If people want certainty just wait for DCFC to tell you and don't read this thread.

Heisenberg reacted to Srg in Joe Ward - joined on a 3 year deal
It's steady. I'm not disappointed or thrilled either, just have to see how he plays. What I will say is though... it was on a free, he won't be on a fortune and we didn't have a player who could play in his position in the squad. So for all those reasons, it ticks a lot of boxes.

Heisenberg reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Paul Warne Pre-Season Interview
That’s a bad take. Let’s look at what was actually said rather than another heavily opinionated assumption
Wanted:
“We need the players that can play in the league above and have got a bit of experience
I want the players that will make big sacrifices and are fully determined for success.
We need players that are prepared to learn and believe in the team more than themselves.
They have to be good footballers, good athletes and they have to buy into the way we play, the way we press and the energy we want from a team.
Also and this is a lot different to a lot of teams in our league - they have to be able to play in front of 30,000 people.
It's a psychology more than a physicality for me. I'm not here to break players but I am here to push boundaries and to try and get more out of the team.
We're trying to make them physically resilient for a 10 month season but a lot of that comes from mentality.
From that, hopefully you can build a squad and a team that are exciting to watch.”
Ignore how Warne says things and look at what he’s actually saying, he wants hard working and capable footballers who know what it means to play for this club and will put the team effort above themselves, what about that is such a bad thing?! From those quotes I’d say it’s more like;
Wanted - football players with the ability and mentality to play for a well supported club planning to push for promotion. Must understand this is a team sport and all members of the squad will play a part in shared success. The plan is that the team will play with a high press, which means physicality and athleticism will be part of our identity as will playing an exciting brand of football. Ability to put up with manager’s rubbish jokes and constant pestering are an added desirable requirement.

Heisenberg reacted to MACKWORTHRAM in Summer Transfer Suggestion Thread 2023
He signed one when Blackpool were in for him.
Fairly sure it's into the last season now.
If we get 2.5-3 million for Knight. I'd be going for Brannagan.

Heisenberg reacted to Srg in Haydon Roberts - signed for Bristol City
Either Haydon has been to turkey this summer for a new chin, or the Bristol photoshop guy has done wonders.

Heisenberg reacted to Animal is a Ram in Ruben Rodrigues - Joined Oxford United
This 'saga' properly reminds me of the Omar Bogle meltdown from a few years ago.

Stinks of agent talk drumming up interest in him.

15% sell-on wasn’t it? Hopefully they and Palace become involved in a bit of a bidding war.
Last year of his contract too so I imagine anywhere between £5m-£8m is likely.

Has there ever been any game you didn’t think we were going to win?

Heisenberg reacted to Rev in A practical thank you to David Clowes, and DCFC.
I was reading the clickbait thread about Pride Park a few weeks back, and it got me thinking.
The area where I sit/stand, is pretty grubby to be honest.
Cobwebs and years of grime baked into the surroundings, I've often thought of taking some cleaning wipes in and giving it a good going over, but matchday probably isn’t the time to do it.
The summer break though, could be the perfect time!
We could show our appreciation, by devoting a few hours of our time one weekend of the clubs choosing, and descend on PP on mass with our dusters, polish and swiffers.
Sunderland did something similar, when they engaged volunteer fans to fit new seats, so it is possible.
Maybe the club could utilise us in a different way, as they see fit.
Even if only 1% of ST Holders responded to the cause, that would still be 200 people. Pledge 4 hours each, and that's 800 hours of free labour, more than enough I'd have thought to get the place spick and span.
We could bring our own materials, and take away the used products, to save the club even having to hire disposal facilities or purchase equipment.
Get the tannoy playing out some tunes, to keep us entertained whilst working, and we could have a great community day out, helping in a practical way the club we all love.
We can't match the owners financial commitment to the club obviously, but we can show how much we appreciate his involvement by using our free time to help the club.
What do you guys think?
Maybe @angieram could sound out the Ramstrust membership, to see if there's any merit in the idea?

You do realise David McGoldrick, the guy that scores the goals for us, used to play for Forest?

Heisenberg reacted to ImARam2 in David Clowes Interview
I have just read the full article and if the Derby fans cannot appreciate what David Clowes has done, not only saving the club from oblivion but to restore the club's reputation with the EFL and other club's, then they don't deserve to be called Derby County supporters.
His integrity, passion, honesty and optimism for the club is unbounded and we should all thank him and his management team for saving the club.
To be within a matter of days, if not hours, of the club going out of existence, and to put together a business plan; a management team with the same attributes and inspirations, along with a set of young and aging players to compete for the play-off places, is nothing short of a miracle.
If we don't get promotion this season, the future of Derby County F.C. is in very safe hands and if, as David Clowes mentions, it might take 5 years, so be it, we have a club and team to support.
Thank you David Clowes and 'Long Live Derby County Football Club'

Heisenberg reacted to kevinhectoring in The Sibley Enigma
I think McGoldrick for all his talents might be a difficult guy to play alongside.
Loved Sibley’s post match interview where he told everyone AM is where he wants to play. Sure Warne was pleased to hear that
Warne on the other hand managed to make Sibleys two excellent goals about Warne: Haha I told sibbo I wish he’d scored another because if he had I’d have been manager of the month. More careless flippancy from Warne in his interviews - I wish he didn’t try so hard to be cute and quirky.

Heisenberg got a reaction from i-Ram in V Plymouth (a) 7th March 20.00
This result is largely on Warne for me, as was Saturday.
Bit of a recurring theme of him leaving it too late when the opposition change tactics with us ultimately paying the price.
Players got to do better too, mind. Not enough nouse and in-game management during important stages of the game.
