Absolutely,  culminating in the FACup exit debacle at Colchester where a couple of us @hales300k ahem..... on here  managed to let it be known at the presser on the pitch at the end of the game that it was not acceptable and then 'escorted' Jeremy Keith et al back to their cars after to let it be known that Brown had to go or else there'd be more than a couple of us having a go the next time..... he was sacked a couple of days later!

The football under Brown was worse than this, without a doubt, as stated above, it is the only time in 40 yrs of support I have called for a manager to be sacked!

The problem today is we have spells of decent football then spells of average and occasionally rubbish (which sticks in the mind more) football, where the players, and these are the players so many that beat Warne up over as being better than 2nd in the table and would walk the league with another manager....., are unable to control, pass it or shoot with any purpose then compound that by making individual errors to cost us the odd game, it isn't Warne telling them to give penalties away, or misplace a pass or mis control the ball.... that is because they just aren't good enough to perform at a top level consistently, hence them plying their trade in league 1, (Irrespective of previously playing at a higher level, age and fitness has caught up with them) but it is the squad we have, so encourage them, get behind them as we did against Stevenage,  and help them to get us over the line, starting at 15:00 today!

We had the likes of Bisgarrd, Idiakez, Smith, Barnes, Moore, Peschisolido, Lee Grant….I watched quite a bit of the 🐏 at the time, it wasn’t great (remember the toxic atmosphere at the Coventry 6-1 away game), but we stayed up in the higher division. I am not so sure this turgid stuff we are seeing now would have resulted in anything other than relegation.

Today is a great opportunity for Paul to prove us doubters wrong.

At home to Port Vale, with Dwight Gayle, Corey Blackett Taylor and Mendez-Laing at his disposal.

I don't even think he can mess this up.

Winning a game now, even winning it convincingly won't prove anything to me. I have had nearly 2 seasons to form my opinion. I wonder how Warne feels about today. If I were him I would have some serious Butterflies in my tummy

Happy clappers, hopeful clappers, nervous clappers, fearful clappers, clappers of habit, drunk clappers, cold clappers (clapping to keep warm), clappers on the payroll, away fan clappers, monkey clappers (the little wind-up toy with the symbol), corporate clappers there for the prawn sandwiches…

There’s different types of clapper*

*I’ve now used the word clapper so many times that I’m suffering from semantic satiation and the word no longer has any meaning for me.

Keep away from Normanton or there'll be another different type 😁

Well if that is beyond you then it all falls into place , you just want to suck out ANY enjoyment derby fans get from watching they’re team , it’s very simple and I’m pretty sure there’s quite a few who are not keen on warne who see your constant put down EVERYTHING about warne and our current position posts the same way

i'd love to live in your little dream world. Do you just go round thinking everything is good?😅

On a serious note though , hell no everything is not good and the only way you survive it is keeping things in perspective,,, it’s a day out at the football ffs, Christ knows how you deal with real poo that matters 🤷‍♂️

It’s the very reason Mad Mel sacked Clement.  He said something like it’s not all about promotion it’s about how you do it and coined the infamous phrase “the Derby way”.

To be fair - I think if MM had been in charge while in this league, he'd have felt differently. It's a horrible league with poor quality players and the aim for any "big" football club like us has to be "just get promoted - whatever it takes".

remember he has 3 promotions from this league so it must have been just as poor on a least 3 occasions before.

For various reasons I think Warne is more likely to get 100% buy in and effort from a Rotherham dressing room than from ours

You've obviously not read his posts in the Jim Smith Room section 😂

Now you know we may argue like cats and dogs on the Jim smith pages but I love you really 😀, I actually mean that , arguing over different points of view on subjects on a forum or in a pub over a pint means sweet fa in the grand scheme of things 👍

That's his new 3 at the back sorted......

Today was a solid win against limited opposition, the lineup worked and the players did their jobs well for the most part. There was however still a very sticky patch in which we seemed to retreat and invite them into the game, Warne sounded pretty ticked off about it which makes me think it’s not solely his doing.

The concerns of many will still remain, the simple joys of a win will serve those of a more optimistic output just as much as those with concerns, I hate it when mum and dad fight can’t we just get along?!
