If any premier league club gets an actual points deduction I'll be amazed. The ones who are winning stuff/getting in Europe/avoiding relegation won't push as it won't suit their own agenda. The ones who've gone down after a few years will have played the skeleton in the closet game and won't want to risk any counter accusations which may damage their failure pot of money or close off an option for a quick return. The only ones who'll raise it as an issue are a one season up, not that likely to return club and they'll just laugh and not give a s***.

Everton posted financial losses for the fifth successive year in March after reporting a £44.7m deficit in 2021-22. Premier League clubs are permitted to lose £105m over a three-year period and Everton admitted to being in breach of the profit and sustainability rules (PSR) for the period ending 2021-22. Following a five-day hearing in October, the commission found in favour of the Premier League that Everton's losses during that period amounted to £124.5m." Gaspode
Understand Everton are appealing the deduction, but it looks like a slam-dunk with little to argue other than they've been penalised while Man City & Chelsea have not... To be honest, they're in form at the moment and there are some pretty dreadful teams in the bottom half of the PL so getting a deduction this season may not be as catastrophic as it may have been in another season...I can see them escaping relegation fairlt comfortably. It’s ironic that a 10-point deduction in any of the years they fell foul of the rules would have relegated them. But when they finally get deducted, it’s in a year where the bottom three are that bad they will still stay up by about 10+ points. JfR
As much as I don't like it, I can at least understand why Leeds, Leicester, Burnley and Southampton have put in applications for compensation. What surprised me is that Forest have as well. Don't think that one stands much of a chance.

TomTom92
The sooner FIFA puts a widespread transfer/wage cup in to place the better. Either that or do away with FFP and let teams spend what they like and if their eyes are bigger than their bellies and they go bust then its tough titties. Wolfie20
Even with a 10 point deduction they're still only 2 points behind a poor Luton side so it'll be their own fault if, over the remainder of the season, they fail to escape relegation. As they have appealed, and it’s gone on for so long, surely a decision would already have been made. It’ll probably be a big fine, which will be pennies for their owners.
