IslandExile
I used to enjoy games against West Ham back in the day, Brooking, Devonshire, Bonds, Lampard Snr etc.... Two good footballing teams and we usually came out on top. I'm looking forward to it. Be a good challenge. angieram, Andicis, Zag zig and 2 others
Carl Sagan
If you look in the "personal world cup" thread, they are the team without Rams links who I most dislike. Very good draw in that they're struggling to stay up so have to prioritize the league. Except Moyes is also struggling to keep his job, so may feel he can't afford to lose to League One Derby or he'll be out. Guaranteed on the box. Let's also sell out the ground. It's a free hit for us, which is perfect. angieram, SKRam, Rammy03 and 1 other 1

Guest
Decent game to watch today, enjoyed it and glad we went despite the less than tropical weather. Glad it is a home draw and will defo go to the game, just would have preferred a bigger PL side than West Ham, but should draw a decent crowd and maybe some tele money…

No, but could we beat them? Yes. We gave a much stronger proposition Liverpool a good go at their place. we should not be wobbly kneed at the prospect of Wet Spam....? Whatever team West Ham field, it’s a proper cup tie feel about it. Don’t get some negativity, we could do this. Rammy03 and Kathcairns

I would hope we give them a game at least. We can win. If Moyes is still the manager they will field a very strong side

They should win of course . But I recall a Derby team getting tanked by Bristol Rovers at home when we were in a similar spell of miserable form as a premier league club. Ravanelli, Kinkladze etc made no difference as confidence was on it's arse. Certainly wouldn't be the giant killing of the ages. But they'll need to start on the front foot for a realistic shot. Why not though, pressures on them
Carl Sagan
According to the West Spam site: "This will be just the second FA Cup meeting between the two clubs, with West Ham defeating Derby 5-2 in the semi-final at Stamford Bridge in March 1923 to secure a place in the first-ever final held at Wembley Stadium." Denying us a place in the first ever Wembley final is another reason to dislike them! Eddie, RoyMac5, uttoxram75 and 1 other 1
SKRam
Thought it was a great draw all round. Really good mix of ties with teams from different divisions. Third round there were plenty of same division ties but the mix for the Fourth will be very interesting. angieram and Kathcairns
