Korey Smith still out too? Intriguing, but back to Bird and Hourihane. Hope he's not having to learn the same lesson there and somehow new instructions/tactics & shape compensate for it. Plenty of pace there around Collins.

Is it though? This could quite easily be the same shape we saw second half last time out. Chester, Davies and Cashin at the back, Knight, Bird and Hourihane in midfield. NML and Barkhuizen wide with Joan Collins and Dobbin up top.

No McGoldrick?

A casualty of the new athlete mindset ?  You can work some players to a higher level of fitness the right side of 30.  You only get so much extra from a bloke who's going to be retiring in 18 months.  We have a few of them and no replacements.

Bird got subbed second half I recall ? But yeah, sure shape could be same.

then bird and hourihane midfield

nml, Collins, dobbin front three

not into knight playing there but someone has to I guess until january

Looks like a 3142 like what he has recently played at Rotherham.

Wildsmith - Chester Davies Cashin - Bird - NML Knight Hourihane Barkhuizen - Collins Dobbin

Asking a lot of your wide players there aren’t you. Be interesting the next few weeks.
